Selbst gemacht

Dies ist das Fest der Anreisser und Macher, der Spinner und Visionäre. Das Festival ist ein Grosskunstwerk. Es ist Freiluftgalerie, Ausstellung und Karneval in einem. Wer den Platz betritt, bringt sich kreativ mit ein. Es gibt keine Zuschauer, nur Teilnehmer. Die Veranstalter stellen nur eine leere Wiese zur Verfügung. Es gibt nichts ausser Trinkwasser, Bau- und Brennholz. Es liegt an den Teilnehmern, ihre Bauten und Projekte Tag für Tag wachsen zu lassen und so für wenige Tage eine kuriose neue Welt zu erschaffen.

Entkommerzialisiert

Am Festival kannst du nichts kaufen oder verkaufen. Nach der Kollekte am Eingang kannst du dein Portemonnaie weglegen. Ob Trinken, Essen, Unterhaltung – was auch immer du haben möchtest: Du musst es selber mitbringen.

Schenken

Geben ist die Grundlage des Festivals. Schenken ist nicht Tauschen. Erwarte keine Gegenleistung. Ein Geschenk ist an keine Bedingung oder Absicht geknüpft. Erhälst du ein Geschenk, übernimmst du auch die Verantwortung dafür. (Bierdose, Verpackungen, …) Schenkst du, so wirst du reich zurückbeschenkt. Remember, first give – then receive.

Radikale Selbstverwirklichung

Sei, was du schon immer sein wolltest. Sei das beste Selbst, welches du dir vorstellen kannst. Das Festival ist ein Spielfeld deiner Selbst, immer die anderen respektierend. Tob dich aus, ignoriere Konventionen. Dies ist der Moment, um dich neu zu erfinden. Sei es alleine, als Teil eines Projektes in einer Gruppe, verkleidet oder geschminkt, die Möglichkeiten sind unendlich.

Brennend

Erster Höhepunkt des Festivals ist das Entzünden des Seelenfeuers – dieses wird während der Eröffnungszeremonie entfacht und während der ganzen Festivalwoche durchgehend am Lodern gehalten. Samstagnacht verwandelt sich der Festplatz in ein brennendes Kunstwerk. Stück für Stück werden brennbare Kunstprojekte vom Seelenfeuer entfacht. Am Sonntagmorgen ist vom Festival nur noch ein Häufchen Asche übrig.

Radikale Eigenverantwortung

Dies ist ein Mitbring-Festival. Du sorgst selber für dein Essen, deine Unterkunft, dein Wohlergehen und für jenes deiner Mitcamper. Nur Wasser und Toiletten werden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Radikale Offenheit

Jeder kann ein Teil des Festivals sein. Wir heissen das Fremde willkommen und respektieren es. Egal welche politische Gesinnung, egal welche sexuelle Ausrichtung, egal welcher Lebenswandel. Jede und jeder ist willkommen, der/die diese Offenheit teilt, friedlich ist und die anderen respektiert.

Erneuerbar

Das Festival bezieht keine Energie aus der Steckdose oder aus fossilen Brennstoffen und ist eine Experimentierplattform für alternative Energiequellen.

Der Strom für die Grundinfrastruktur wird komplett mit erneuerbaren Energiequellen erzeugt. Auch die Teilnehmer sind aufgerufen, für sich und ihre Projekte selber Strom auf dem Platz zu erzeugen.

Spurlos

Was auch immer du mit auf den Berg bringst, nimmst du auch wieder mit runter. Jeden Zigarettenstummel, jeden Bierdeckel, jeden Nagel. Auf dem Platz gibt es weder Mülleimer noch eine Entsorgung. Wir behandeln die Umwelt mit grösstem Respekt. Wir hinterlassen keine Spuren. Ziel ist, den Festivalplatz in einem besseren Zustand zu verlassen, als wir ihn angetroffen haben.

Es gibt das Schwiizerdütsch, und es gibt das Hochdeutsch, ne? Und dann gibt es tatsächlich Begriffe, die zwar Hochdeutsch klingen, aber nur in der Schweiz vorkommen.

Ich finde, dass „parkieren“ viel hübscher klingt als „parken“. Ebenso grillieren. Denn Grillen sind ja die Grillen. Dass Peperoni auf Deutschdeusch „Paprika“ heisst, wusste ich schon länger. Aber wie nennen die Deutschen denn eigentlich das Gewürz „Paprika“? Fegen ist wischen und wischen ist fegen, ist doch einerlei?! In Hamburg lief da ich prompt rein; „der Boden ist schon gewischt, du musst ihn nur noch fegen.“ Ja was jetzt? Das eine ist feucht aufnehmen (=wischen), das andere trocken abwischen ääh also „fegen“. Dabei tönt „fegen“ viel intensiver, da muss doch noch Wasser dabei sein! Kompliziert.

Entscheid und Beschrieb gibt’s ebensowenig wie Renovation und Unterbruch. Die kennen nicht mal „Handkehrum“!

Handkehrum wird es dann lustig, wenn dann die anderen Landessprachen noch dazukommen.

Die Einflüsse der Mundart können vereinzelt zu Missverständnissen führen: Das Wort cocomero bezeichnet normalerweise in Italien eine Wassermelone, während die Tessiner damit meistens eine Gurke meinen.

Da möchte ich nicht Dolmetscher sein bei einer deutsch-französisch-italienischen Kochsendung, wo in einem Bahnhofbuffet Paprika, Peperoni, Gurken und Wassermelonen als Bettmümpfeli à discrétion zubereitet werden und am Schluss noch der Boden speditiv gewischt und gefegt wird!

Eine vergleichende Untersuchung von süddeutschen und Nordwestschweizer Schülern der Primarstufe zeigt, dass sich die Standardsprachen der beiden Gruppen stark unterscheiden: die deutschen Kinder zeigen beispielsweise eine deutliche Tendenz zu Totalassimilationen (ham für haben) und reduzierten nasalen Formen wie der Verkürzung des unbestimmten Artikels (’n Haus – ein Haus, ’ne Blume – eine Blume). Bei den Schweizer Sprechern kommen reduzierte nasale Formen praktisch nicht vor, die Endsilbe -en wird häufig voll realisiert (wir gehen statt wir gehn). Die Schweizer Sprecher verzichten auf die beschriebenen Verschleifungen und halten damit viel häufiger die – korrekten – standardlichen Vollformen ein als die Schüler aus Süddeutschland, wobei aber gerade diese Verschleifungen die Artikulation erleichtern und den Sprachfluss vereinfachen.

Gemäss diesem Ansatz führt der Schulunterricht in der Deutschschweiz dazu, dass Schweizer ein möglicherweise übermässig korrekt gesprochenes Hochdeutsch anstreben; dabei orientieren sie sich einseitig an Qualitätskriterien, die für die geschriebene Sprache gelten. Darunter leiden die sprachliche Spontaneität und die Eloquenz des mündlichen Hochdeutsch. Andererseits ist das Schweizer Hochdeutsch dadurch leichter verständlich, gerade für Personen, die Deutsch als Fremd- oder Zweitsprache lernen und für die umgangssprachliche Verschleifungen ein Hindernis darstellen, vor allem dann, wenn sie die Sprache vorwiegend schriftlich erlernen.

Und dass man die gratis herunterladen kann.
Und dass man damit 512 DMX-Kanäle über Art-Net steuern kann.
Wait what? Ich kann meine Shows nun mit der Software steuern, mit der sie all die grossen Openairs beleuchten?

„Weisst du noch, damals, im 2018…“ beginne ich am Lagerfeuer unserer Kommune zu erzählen. „Die hatten damals alles unterjocht. In Europa wurde am 25. Mai eine ziemlich satte Datenschutzverordnung aktiv. Neu muss jeder, der Daten von Europäern bearbeitet, explizit eine Erlaubnis beim Benutzer holen, und Firmen müssen ganz genau deklarieren, wo welche Daten zu welchem Zweck erhoben werden und wie lange sie gespeichert werden.

Meine Mailbox quillt über von Privacy Policy Update und Wir aktualisieren unsere Datenschutzerklärung. „Transparenz und Datenschutz sind uns wichtig.“ Nein, ist es euch nicht. Denn wenn es euch wichtig wäre, dann hättet ihr schon lange vorher Vorkehrungen dafür getroffen und die Erlaubnis bei den Leuten eingeholt. Alle Firmen, die kurz vor dem 25. Mai ihre Datenschutzerklärungen überarbeiteten haben bloss Schiss vor den drohenden Strafen. Alles reaktive Winsewiesel mit einem dürren Stecken im Arsch.

Aber hey boah, die Hölle friert ein. Ein Gesetz von der EU (!) zugunsten der Bürger (!!) und gegen die Firmen?! Wie geil. Es drohen bis zu 20’000’000€ Busse oder 4% des Jahresumsatzes. Jemand hat am 25. Mai bereits Google, Facebook, WhatsApp und Instagram verklagt. Sehr schön. Ändlich chlöpfts mal richtig und hoffentlich steigt der Atompilz von Facebook so richtig hoch in die Stratosphäre.
