Ich kam zum Entschluss, den Text im Beitrag zur Brandnacht zu entfernen. Er entspricht nicht den Überlegungen, Hintergründen und Bemühungen all derer, die darin involviert waren. Ich liebe dieses Festival zu sehr, als dass ich Absperrungen um jedes Feuer in der Brandnacht sehen wollen würde. Aber ich liebe dieses Festival zu sehr, als dass ich Menschen mit meinen Schilderungen, die ich bloss vom Hörensagen und aus Fotos mitgeteilt bekommen habe, vor den Kopf stossen möchte. Menschen, die sich genau so für das Festival einsetzen und sich trauen, sich auf unbekannte Situationen einzulassen und die Verantwortung für die Sicherheit von 2’000 Teilnehmern übernehmen. Es würde mir das Herz brechen, wenn wegen so einem Text diese Menschen nicht mehr ans Festival kommen würden. Es tut mir leid.

Wir alle machen Fehler in diesem grossen sozialen Experiment. Jetzt gilt es, zusammen herauszufinden, wie wir die Stimmung der Brandnacht aus früheren Editionen erhalten können, und dabei trotzdem die Sicherheit gewährleisten können.

Am Freitag Abend soll noch eine Hiphop-Band auftreten, und nächstes Jahr will Christoph ein klassisches Orchester aufs Gelände holen. Jetzt haben wir dann wirklich alle Musikstile beisammen!

Zum letzten Mal hallt die vertraute Stimme am Morgen durch den Wald, die mich zum Aufstehen zwingt. Kaffee kochen und mööggen (Berndeutsch für „Ausrufen“), und dann wird hoffentlich jemand eine Yogalektion geben -- oder wir machen alle zusammen ein improvisiertes Hippieyoga und jeder zeigt eine Figur vor, an die er sich gerade erinnert. Simu, der das bisher gemacht hat, wird pensioniert. Ob es dann Kafi+Yoga weiterhin geben wird, oder Rotwein und Yoga, oder Schoggimilch und Tanz -- das entscheidet das Festival.

Das ist Anarchie in Aktion. Friedliches, selbstorganisiertes Zusammenleben. Niemand plant etwas, es gibt keinen Herrscher, keinen Chef, niemand befiehlt. Jeder entscheidet selber, was er am Festival sehen und erleben will und handelt dann, um das zu manifestieren. Alles wächst organisch.

Das Gelände gehört für eine Woche uns allen und jeder trägt die Verantwortung, dass es sauber bleibt. Ob Abfall oder WCs; wenn etwas dreckig ist; es gibt Putzzeug und man darf sich selber darum kümmern. Keine schlecht gelaunten Putzschnäpfen, die jetzt arbeiten müssen und einem hässig aus dem WC verscheuchen wie am Hauptbahnhof, sondern: Die Infrastruktur gehört uns allen und ich helfe gerne mit. Ähnlich wie beim Engelsystem am Congress sind wir sehr erfreut, dass wir das dürfen und uns so eine grosse Verantwortung und ein solches Vertrauen gegeben wird. Das System ist übrigens selbstregulierend; die Toiletten zeigen selber, wann wir uns zu wenig um sie kümmern.

Achtet mal auch nach der Ansage darauf, wie plötzlich von allen Seiten Leute ins Zelt rufen, um ihre Workshops anzukündigen. Von hinten rechts kündigt eine Frau eine Farbdisco um 13 Uhr an, und kaum hat sie fertiggeredet, geht es gleich weiter mit Mantrasingen von vorne, einem Workshop mit interaktiver Bühne für Erwachsene von rechts und einer Wildkräuterführung von links. Das ist das Festivalradio in Dolby Live Surround und mit echten Menschen, spontan, ungeplant.

Und ratet mal, was am nächsten Tag passiert ist? „Kafi+Yoga, in drissig Minutte im Zirkuszält!“ Jemand anderes ist eingesprungen und hat Kaffee gekocht und ausgerufen. Unser geliebtes Kafi+Yoga; der sanfte Start in den Tag; das Festivalradio -- es existiert weiter! Mit anderen Leuten, getragen vom Festival. Alles, was es amigs braucht, ist eine Idee.

Die Stimmung ist aufgeheizt, alle sind voller Energie. Nach so einem Metallkonzert müssen wir die Wogen etwas glätten. „Es gibt einen Friedensmarsch – bist du dabei?“ stubst mich eine Frau an. „Wir treffen uns in fünf Minuten beim Klimacamp.“

Alle sitzen im Kreis und wir überlegen uns, was Frieden für uns bedeutet, und mit welcher konkreten Handlung wir anfangen würden, um Frieden zu schaffen. Die Frau, die die Sitzung leitet, hält eine bewegende Rede. Ihre starke Ausstrahlung, das friedliche Gewusel auf dem Gelände, die neusten Ereignisse in meinem Leben und die Energie vom Konzert vorhin sorgen dafür, dass ich sehr davon mitgerissen werde.

„OH MY FUCKING GOD WIE GEIL!!!!!“ platze ich raus und verfalle gleich in schallendes Lachen.

Der Christoph schleppt eine Deathmetalband an ein Hippiefestival. Ich frage mich jetzt schon, wo ich all das Popkorn herkriege für dieses Ereignis. So ein geiler Siech! Ja, wir wollen ja ein Festival sein, dass möglichst viele Kulturen und Stilrichtungen beinhaltet. Metal hat bisher gefehlt. Letztes Jahr hatten wir noch darüber gewitzelt, ob wir ein Wacken-Village als Camp machen wollen… Und jetzt spielt einfach eine Metalband!

Flötenzauber, Hunde und Gitarren spielen zierlich im Zirkuszelt, während sie auf der Bühne anfangen, die bösen Gitarren aufzustellen… Au weia, das wird ja heiss! 😀

Entzünden des Seelenfeuers

Gespannt sitzen wir ums Seelenfeuer. Ein Schmied wird mit nur einem Nagel und Hammer das Seelenfeuer entzünden. Alle haben ein Kerzli bekommen, welches im Anschluss entzündet wird. So trägt jeder sein Licht ins Festival.
