Jeden Freitag auf die Strasse gehen und Plakate in die Luft halten? Darauf warten, dass Politiker aktiv werden und etwas tun? Ach.
„Warum pflanzen wir nicht einfach eine Million Bäume?“ hatte ich mir schon lange gedacht, wusste aber nicht, wie ich das bewerkstelligen soll. Nun haben sich ein paar einflussreiche Youtube-Persönlichkeiten zusammengeschlossen und rufen uns auf:
Lasst uns 20’000’000 Bäume in 2 Monaten pflanzen.
Die Arbor Day Stiftung führt die Aufforstung durch, mithilfe von Saatdrohnen von Droneseed. Eine Späherdrohne analysiert das Gelände, berechnet geeignete Aussaatstellen und schickt dann Saatdrohnen los, die eine Batterie an Nährkapseln mit 6 regionalen Baumsamen in genügend grossem Abstand auf den Boden fallen lassen.
Finanziert wird die Aktion von den Menschen dieser Erde: Aus 1$ wird 1 Baum.
ENDLICH mal etwas, was greifbar, machbar und messbar ist.
Ob der Klimawandel echt ist oder nicht -- die Erde braucht Bäume!
