„Wann gibt’s endlich was zu Essen?“ stürme ich nach vier Stunden Lichttechnik-Aufbau. Um 19 Uhr ist Türöffnung und ab dann heisst es nonstop Lämplen bis spät in die Nacht. Magenknurr.
„Hunger, geh weg!“ Ich kann mich nicht mehr konzentrieren, als wir bei einem Kunden vor Ort sind. Die Mittagszeit ist schon längst überfällig.
„Oh, es ist 21 Uhr und ich hätte eigentlich um 15 Uhr Mittagessen wollen“ dachte ich und schliesse den Leveleditor wieder.
Das sind genau die Szenarien, wo ich mir ein Zaubermitteli wünsche, das den Hunger in 5 Minuten einfach wegmacht. Tatsächlich – sowas gibts! Und es ist nicht ungesunder Fastfood, sondern vegane Weltraumnahrung in Pulverform; mit allen Nährstoffen, die der Körper braucht.
Das Pulver wird mit Wasser angemischt und schmeckt wie flüssige Kuchenmischung. Yummie! Ein Messlöffel ist eine kleine Zwischenmahlzeit. Zwei Messlöffel, und ich habe gegessen. Drei Messlöffel, und ich habe reichlich gut gegessen. Genau die Form von Nahrung, die mich lange Nächte im Backstage-Bereich durchstehen lässt, ohne dass ich ständig stürmen muss, wann wir denn endlich Pizza bestellen. Oder ich so beschäftigt bin, dass ich nicht gross Zeit für Mahlzeitzubereitung aufbringen will, die mir danach auch noch zwei Stunden Schnitzelkoma* beschert.
*Schnitzelkoma: Die überwältigende Müdigkeit nach einer grossen Fleischportion, weil alles Blut nun im Magen für die Verdauung benötigt wird, statt im Gehirn verfügbar zu sein.
Januar ist mein Fastenmonat. Vor einem Jahr: Die Hippiemikrowelle und grüne Smoothies. Dieses Jahr: Mana.
Was mir auch erst so richtig durch Mana bewusst wurde: Den grössten Teil des Abfalls verursachen wir durch Essen. Früher habe ich jede Woche einen 35L-Sack herausgetragen. Mit Mana? Alle 2-3 Wochen.
Strom zur Zubereitung braucht’s auch keinen. Einen Kühlschrank zum Lagern ebensowenig.
Nach der Miete ist Futter der zweitgrösste Finanzposten. Mit Mana habe ich für 3.- gegessen. Und die Schoggistängeli langweilen sich im Schrank. Ich hab gar kein Verlangen mehr danach.

Lipide aus Leinsamen
Wir verwenden biologisch zertifiziertes und kaltgepresstes Leinöl. Dank einer speziellen Technologie des Sauerstoffausschlusses in allen Teilen des Prozesses vermeiden wir jede unerwünschte Peroxidation. Von allen anderen pflanzlichen Ölen enthält Leinöl die höchste Menge an der Omega-3-Fettsäure ALA.
Lipide aus Sonnenblumen
Sonnenblumenöl enthält einen hohen Anteil an einfach und mehrfach ungesättigten Fettsäuren (MUFA und PUFA). Neben Omega-9 und Omega-6 (Linolsäure) enthält Sonnenblumenöl auch erhebliche Mengen an Vitamin E und Phytosterinen.
Oligosaccharide aus Mais
Maiskörner sind der Rohstoff für die Herstellung von sehr reinen und gut strukturierten Kohlenhydraten. Um leicht verfügbare Energie zu liefern und dem Produkt eine angenehme Konsistenz und milde Süße zu verleihen benutzen wir hochwertige Oligosaccharide aus Maisstärke.
Isoliertes Protein aus Soja
Dieses sehr wertvolle Protein trägt zum Muskelwachstum sowie der Aufrechterhaltung normaler Knochen bei. Dank des Proteingehalts von 20 g pro Portion gehören Mana Pulver und Mana Drink zu den Lebensmitteln mit hohem Proteingehalt. Während unseres einzigartigen Herstellungsprozesses wird die Menge an Soja-Phytoöstrogenen minimiert.
Lecithin aus Soja
Sojalecithin ist aufgrund seiner emulgierenden und stabilisierenden Eigenschaften ein wichtiger Bestandteil von Mana. Lecithin ist eine lebenswichtige Komponente des Nervensystems und des Gehirns sowie eine Quelle des wertvollen Nährstoffes Cholin.
Lipide aus Raps
Rapsöl ist eine hervorragende Quelle für Omega-6- und Omega-3-Fettsäuren in einem günstigen Verhältnis von 2:1. Gleichzeitig ist es arm an gesättigtem Fett und reich an fettlöslichen Vitaminen und sekundären Pflanzenstoffen wie Lutein und Phytosterolen.
Lipide aus Kokosnuss
Wir verwenden kaltgepresstes Kokosöl von höchster Bio-Qualität. Es hat ein angenehmes Aroma, eine feste Konsistenz und einen hohen Gehalt an wertvollen, gesättigten Fettsäuren mittlerer Kettenlänge, einschließlich Laurinsäure und Myristinsäure, mit nur einer geringen Menge an hoch gesättigten Fettsäuren. Diese Kombination macht es einzigartig unter natürlichen Ölen.
