„Ihr spielt heute gegeneinander.“ Arma 3, wir formen uns zu zwei Teams. Jugger übernimmt die Rolle des Sportkommentators und kommentiert das Geschehen. Böse Musik spielt im Hintergrund, der Blitz schlägt ein – Ladies and Gentleman, welcome! Das Spiel beginnt. Fatal bleibt am Startpunkt und fliegt mit der Drohne hoch, um uns über Funk die Positionen des gegnerischen Teams mitzuteilen. Was gibt es noch für Tricks, die man nutzen kann, mit denen das andere Team nicht gerechnet hat? Oh, sie haben vergessen, ihre Funkfrequenz zu wechseln -- wir können ihre Funksprüche abhören! 😀 „Achtung links, die kommen auf euch zu.“ Es gilt, mindestens zwei von drei Türmen unter Kontrolle zu bringen, dann und nur dann gibt es Tickets, alle paar Sekunden. Nach 200 Tickets gewinnt das Team mit der Ticketmehrheit.
Ich amüsiere mich köstlich. Was für eine Stimmung! „Komm, wir gehen zur Baustelle und nehmen von da aus den Turm ins Visier!“ sage ich zu meinem Teamkameraden. Geschichten entstehen, während das Spiel seinen Lauf nimmt. Die Spannung ist immens hoch; jetzt sind es nicht berechenbare Computergegner wie sonst amigs, sondern Menschen, die auch mal ums Gebäude herum Fangis spielen, mal nicht gleich merken, wenn jemand hinter ihnen steht und ungewohnte Überraschungen bereithalten. Die Zusammenarbeit im Team ist trotzdem gefragt, daran ändert sich nichts.
Nach einer knappen halben Stunde ist die Runde vorbei, unser Team verliert. Aber das ist mir egal, ich hatte so viel Spass, das Endresultat beachte ich gar nicht.

Der Blitz schlägt ein und markiert den Startpunkt des Lebens. Wie auch im Film The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, ich erinnere mich. Und immer, wenn solche Parallelen auftauchen, ahne ich, dass die nachfolgenden Ereignisse wohl noch eine tiefere Bedeutung haben.
Das Spiel des Lebens beginnt. Wir bewegen uns auf dem Spielfeld. Mein Team verliert.
Dennoch hatte ich einen Heidenspass, es macht mir nichts aus, dass wir verloren haben.
Und die Moral von der Geschicht?
Selbst wenn ich im Spiel des Lebens verliere: Ich spiele es trotzdem gerne, einfach aus Freude und Spass. Keine Wünsche, kein Zwang. No Wants. Selbst wenn ich verliere, spiele ich trotzdem mit, einfach nur aus Freude.
Japp! Das ist meine momentan beste Einstellung für „No Wants“. Es gibt nichts zu gewinnen; keine Erleuchtung, kein Weltretten, keine Gesellschaftsveränderung; kein besser sein als andere, kein schlechter sein als andere; kein Können und kein Nichtkönnen, kein Haben und kein Nichthaben.
Was gibt es für ein Rezept, frei von Hoffnungen und Wünschen zu werden, um aus dem Moment heraus zu leben?

Nun, die Frage ist hiermit beantwortet.

Es spielt keine Rolle, ob ich verliere oder gewinne. Ich spiele aus Freude am Spiel.
Und wer hätte gedacht, dass eine Militärsimulation mal einisch Topf für philosophische Erkenntnisse werden kann? Das ist Arma 3, der Sandkasten für erwachsene Kinder, so offen und formbar wie das Leben selber.
