Ein Druck im Schädel, und ein elektrisches Gefühl in allen Gliedern. Gehirnchemie hat schlimmere Nachwirkungen als so mache Drogen, die ich kenne. Das war wieder mal ein Klassiker gestern. Zwei, drei kleine Ereignisse, und die Gedankenspirale beginnt sich abwärts zu drehen. Immer tiefer, immer weiter, immer dunkler. Erfindet Geschichten und fiktive Situationen, die alle immer mit dem Tod enden. Mindestens. Und am Schluss weiss ich gar nicht mehr, was denn überhaupt der Auslöser war. Egal, das war gestern. Vergessen wir’s einfach, ich will nicht darüber reden. Lass uns sehen, was der heutige Tag bringt.
Ich liebe das warme Wasser im See. Morgenschwumm. Endlich wieder am Boom. Danach führt mein Weg unweigerlich zu den Young Dragons. Wie sollte es auch anders sein? Vielleicht besteht ja doch noch die klitzekleine Chance -- ich gebe die Hoffnung nicht auf.
Und tatsächlich. Eneas steht am Chaistand und bedient die Kundschaft. Yes! Grossartig. Meine Stimmung heitert sich auf. „Do you want something?“ fragt er mich, nachdem wir uns begrüsst haben. „Yes. Pastrieswithchinesevegetables.“ antworte ich wie aus der Pistole geschossen. Egal wie es schmecken wird, ich verlasse diesen Platz nicht. Diesmal nicht. „Und eine Wassermelone. Und kalten Chai. Kommst du nach dem Essen mit mir schwimmen?“ „Ja sicher!“ kriege ich zur Antwort. Waah… Kann das sein? Kann das wirklich sein? Öffnet sich das verpasste Portal erneut?
Buuh. Das Gebäck ist Furztrocken. Da muss ich mit dem Staubsauger auf die Kompostschissi. Ich wusste schon, warum ich mich gestern für eine vollwertige Mahlzeit entschieden hatte. Leider für ein zu grosses Opfer. Doch jetzt bin ich da und hole meine Entscheidung nach.
Fünf Minuten, nachdem ich gegessen habe, steht Eneas neben mir. „Hast du deine Pause?“ „Ja.“ „Lass uns schwimmen gehen!“ Und ab durch die Healing-Area! Wow. Ich glaubs einfach nicht:
The gate has reopened.
Wie wenn die Zeit zurückgespult wurde und ich meine Entscheidung nochmal durchspielen darf, diesmal von der anderen Seite. Wahnsinn!
„Da bin ich gestern lange angestanden. Es tut mir leid, dass das so lange gedauert hat. Das war wohl zu heiss für dich, so lange zu warten, und als ich zurückkam, warst du nicht mehr da.“ Wir gehen zur Stelle mit den Fadenblumen. Kleine Fische schwimmen am Ufer davon, Eneas versucht, welche zu fangen, doch sie sind viel zu flink und schlipfrig. „Komm, wir schwimmen quer durch den See zur Insel des Heiligen Feuers“, sagt er zu mir. Gut.
Jetzt ist die Welt in Ordnung. Ihr könnt die Zeit jetzt anhalten. Ich halte kurz inne und geniesse den Moment, dass wenn ich die Augen öffne, ein paar Meter vor mir gleich zwei Hände aus dem Wasser auftauchen. „Let’s play a game. I’m drowning, save me.“ sagt er. Aber klar! Und er lässt sich wieder sinken. Schwebt regungslos im Wasser, während ich ihn aus der Tiefe wieder hochziehe. Huch, da kann ich nimmer stehen, das ist verdammt anstrengend! Lass uns zum anderen Ufer schwimmen. Jetzt habe ich wieder halt. Ich stosse ihn an den Beinen durchs Wasser, während er genüsslich die Arme hinter den Schultern verschränkt. Jaja, das gefällt dir, was? Sich durchs Wasser tragen lassen und ausruhen!
Wir schwimmen wieder zurück zum Strand mit den Blumen. Da sind eine Menge Steine unter Wasser. „I wanna throw stones.“ Hier, nimm den, der ist gross und flach. Au ja! Zagg zagg zagg zaggaggpschsch. Vier! Mein neuer Highscore. Eneas ist geübter; bis zu acht mal klatschen seine Steinchen über die Wasseroberfläche.
Ich steige aus dem Wasser, um mich ein wenig aufzuwärmen. Jetzt wäre eigentlich eine gute Gelegenheit für ein kleines Video, um diesen Moment für die Ewigkeit zu konservieren.
Just als ich auf Aufnahme gedrückt habe, baut sich ein wunderschöner Dust-Devil neben dem Tanztempel auf. Wow! „Sieh nur“, deute ich mit dem Finger hin.
„Weisst du noch, als wir auf diesem Spielturm ganz oben waren letztes Mal? Da konnte man noch unterirdisch durch!“ „Ja. Aber diesmal ist kein unterirdischer Eingang mehr da“, schwelgen wir in Erinnerungen und schlendern durch die Hitze zur Liminal Village. Bald fängt der Psytrance-Production Vortrag an, den will ich aufzeichnen. „Ich bin beim Chaistand. Bis später!“ und wir verabschieden uns.
„Kannst du die nachfolgenden Vorträge auch aufzeichnen? Mastering Psytrance und The World Of Visuals? Die werden spannend!“ Also gut! Habe ich so zwar nicht geplant, aber wenn du meinst… „Jakob aus Hamburg“, stellt sich der Unbekannte vor. Ah ja, dann können wir ja Deutsch reden.
Batterien und Strom: Die rare Resource
Ich habe so langsam ein Problem: Nur noch etwa zwei von sieben Akkus meiner Kamera sind geladen. Das waren wohl ein paar Schamanen zu viel aufgezeichnet bei der Eröffnung des Heiligen Feuers? Mist… Ich mache mich auf die Suche nach einer Steckdose. Die Säulen um das Essenszelt ganz rechts bieten Steckerleisten an. Steckerleisten, mit Steckerleisten angehängt, mit Mehrfachadapter angeschlossen, mit Stromweichen aufgesetzt, mit Mehrfachstecker ergänzt, mit USB-Adapter eingesteckt -- alles voll. Die erste Säule. Die Zweite. Die Dritte. Und die Vierte. Verdammt!
Die Leute sitzen mit ihren Smartphones rundherum und machen nicht den Anschein, als würden sie in nächster Zeit ihren Platz verlassen. Neineineinein bitte nicht. Es ist noch nicht einmal die Hälfte des Festivals verstrichen, und jetzt soll ich keine Videos mehr aufzeichnen können? Ich stecke in Schwierigkeiten.
Wo gäbe es denn noch Strom? Eneas hat bereits gesagt, dass die Steckdose am Chaistand für die Kaffeemaschine reserviert ist; wenn dort etwas zusätzlich eingesteckt würde, liegt gleich alles ab. Der Backstage-Bereich ist für mich nicht zugänglich. Fuck. Soll ich am Infostand fragen? Fieberhaft überlege ich und suche das Gelände ab. 33’333 Personen brauchen Strom, und da waren auch Kameraakkus am laden. Ich kann also nicht einfach hergehen und sagen: Ich mache Fotos für’s Boom, ich bin wichtiger als ihr Smartphonies. Da gibt es bereits andere Kameras…
Links und rechts neben der Liminal Village sind kleine Häusschen aufgestellt. Miniaturmarktstände für kleine Organisationen, die ihr Projekt zeigen wollen. Die hatten doch in der Nacht Licht… Da muss es doch Strom geben. Ich scanne alle Häusschen ab. Da, eine Steckerleiste. Mit freien Plätzen. Tja. Jetzt müsste man halt fragen, hmm…?
„Hey there.“ „Hello, how are you?“
„I, uhm, have a special request.“ „Go on.“
„I record talks for the Liminal Village, but all my batteries are out soon and all powerbanks are occupied.“ noch während ich das sage, deutet der Typ auf die Stromschiene, „Go on, you’re welcome!“ „Ach wirklich? OH GOTT, ihr seid meine Helden!“ umarme ich ihn gleich. Vielen vielen Dank! Das ist jetzt meine Rettung.
Zum Sonnenuntergang ein Konzert
„Onkel Dunkel hatte einen verspäteten Flug. Sein Vortrag zu ‚Mastering Psytrance‘ fällt leider aus. Das tut mir sehr leid“, kündigt Lex, Eneas‘ Mutter, an. „Aber -- damit ihr nicht umsonst hergekommen seid -- machen wir ein kleines Konzert.“
Sie und Gillian haben eine kleine Band; „Galaxychild“, wie mir Eneas später erklärt. Und jetzt tragen sie Wörter aus dem Publikum zusammen, die sie dann zu einem spontanen Lied improvisieren.
„Freiheit“, beginnt jemand. „Liebe.“ „Gravitation.“ „Mond.“ „Erde.“ „Freude.“ „Einheit.“, werfen die Leute munter in die Runde. Ein Künstler gesellt sich zu ihr und wird das ganze mit Sprechgesang untermalen. Ich schlage „Freundschaft“ vor.
Weiche Keyboardmelodien fangen an zu spielen. Lex hat eine ganze Liste an Wörtern gesammelt und baut sie nach und nach in das frei improvisierte Stück ein, während im Hintergrund die feuerrote Abendsonne hinter dem Horizont verschwindet. Ein wunderschöner Augenblick!
Später an diesem Abend findet die Präsentation über die Welt der Visuals statt. Danach laufe ich noch einmal durchs Gelände und statte dem Ark-Dome einen Besuch ab. Drei Beamer mit zwölftausend Lumen bestrahlen das Kuppeldach des Doms, erzeugen eine 360° Rundumsicht und decken das volle Sichtfeld der Augen ab. Während wir am Boden liegen, fliegt das Raumschiff los durch Sternenmeere und Fraktale. Phänomenal!
Am Heiligen Feuer haben einige ihre Instrumente mitgebracht und singen unter dem Mondschein. Das Wummern des Tanztempels ist nur noch entfernt zu hören. Wir machen hier unsere eigene Musik.
Todmüde, aber mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen verlasse ich das Seelenfeuer wieder. Der Gesang hinter mir verschwindet immer weiter in der Nacht. Alles ist so friedlich.
Als ich bei der Liminal Village vorbeikomme, sind alle Materialien beim Stand mit meiner Ladestation im Häusschen versorgt. Schwaches LED-Licht beleuchtet den Innenraum. Ein Hut verdeckt die Stromschiene, die nun meine Batterien lädt.
Wow. Ich habe eine private Ladestation. An einem Festival mit 33’333 Besuchern. Ohne Helferbändeli. Geschützt und gesichert, und ich habe freien Zugang.
Meine Schutzengel hauen mich manchmal echt aus den Socken…
Vor dem zu Bett gehen reihe ich mich in die Schlange bei den Komposttoiletten ein. Nach fünf Minuten geht eine Tür auf und die Frau hält sie für mich auf, damit sie nicht zuschletzt. Ich setze mich hin und traue meinen Augen nicht:
Wollt ihr mich eigentlich verarschen? 😀 , schiesst mir durch den Kopf. Das ist genau die gleiche Kompostschissi, die ich am Tag davor benutzt habe. Die „Alles wird gut“ Aufheitertoilette. Mit einem feinen Unterschied. Ein Schriftzug prangert jetzt neu rechts daneben: „Alles ist gut.“
Oh mein Gott wow. Das ist kein Zufall mehr. Das ist Synchronizität.
Ich kann meine Tränen nur schwer unterdrücken, diesmal vor Freude, Verwunderung und tiefer Berührung.
