14:45 Uhr. Ich treffe mich mit Constanca; sie hielt am letzten Boom Festival den Vortrag über Alchemie und hat sich über meine Blogbeiträge von damals gefreut. Nun sehen wir uns „offiziell“ wieder.

„Um 15:30 ist in der Liminal Village ein Vortrag über das Kosmicare. Gehen wir hin?“, fragt sie mich auf Englisch. Klaro!

Das Kosmicare. „Eine Einrichtung, die Menschen hilft, die durch schwierige psychedelische Erfahrungen gehen. Dabei versuchen die Helfer dort nicht, die Erfahrung zu stoppen, sondern bieten Unterstützung an, dass der Betroffene selber durch diese Erfahrung gehen kann. Nur wenn es ausdrücklich gewünscht wird, oder Menschen in unmittelbarer Nähe gefährdet sind, greift das Kosmicare zu Mitteln, welche die Erfahrung stoppen.“, lässt eine Mitarbeiterin des Kosmicares verlauten.

Der Boom Bus fährt uns direkt aufs Festivalgelände.

Es ist schon sehr spät in der Nacht, als ich ankomme. Diesmal sind eine ganze Gruppe an Freunden und Bekannten dabei. Wo sie wohl ihr Camp aufgestellt haben? Es stellt sich raus, dass sich ihr Camp etwa 30 Meter neben meinem Platz vom letzten Boom befindet 🙂

Was hat geändert im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr, was blieb gleich? Mir fällt der Strand auf: Statt Sand ist er mit Gras überwachsen. Neben der grossen Infowand für allerhand Nachrichten stehen diesmal auch weisse Wände frei zum bemalen bereit. Der Elefant als Lehmfigur war letztes mal auch schon da, doch es kamen viele weitere dazu, wie ein Drache oder ein Einhorn. Auch gibt es neue bewegte Skulpturen wie rotierende Skelette, oder Installationen, die an H.R. Giger angelehnt sind.

Der Tag 0 ist ein Erkundungstag. Fast nirgendwo läuft Musik, wir baden im See. Jubelwellen strömen über den Strand. Endlich Wärme und Sonne! Hier spielen Leute mit Hunden, dort liest jemand ein Buch am Strand. Die Energy Balls schmecken köstlich; eine Art Birchermüesli in Kugelform. Die 3rd-Eye Galerie vom letzten Jahr hat sich diesmal zu einem Drachen gemausert. Wir werden dessen Innenleben in der Nacht noch separat bewundern. Fast überall sind Hängematten aufgespannt, die Liminal Village hat Tontöpfe bekommen, in die man sich reinsetzen kann.

Aber wenn du nach Hause zurückkehrst, in dein Land, und zu jemandem sprichst, der nicht in dieser Festivalkultur ist, da ist es schwierig, darüber zu reden, ohne verurteilt zu werden, das Stigma zu spüren, das die Leute dir geben, für jemand, der Drogen konsumiert, weil sie es nicht verstehen.

Storytelling, was diese Kultur für dich bedeutet, was Drogenkonsum für dich bedeutet und die positiven Aspekte, die damit verbunden sind, sind ein wirklich wichtiger Teil, um den Grundstein für Gesetzesänderungen zu legen.

Fang an, über deine Erfahrungen zu berichten. Ausserhalb von Menschen, denen wir vertrauen – tragen wir diese Botschaft? Wird es wirklich geteilt? Es ist wichtig. Medienberichte, Blogposts, Gespräche mit Freunden – all das verändert die Herzen und das Denken.
