Auch bei uns sind der Pfäffiker- und Greifensee zugefroren und waren über zwei Wochen hinweg die Winterattraktion schlechtin (Lokalausdruck dafür: „Seegfrörni“). Heute wurden sie wieder gesperrt, da der Regen von Gestern und die etwas milderen Temperaturen alles matschig gemacht haben.

Obwohl wir allgemein von einer Klimaerwärmung sprechen, scheint dieser Winter einer der kälteren zu sein, denn gerade der Greifensee war seit 1991 nicht mehr begehbar. Seine Eisdicke beträgt nun ca. 14-16cm. Beim Pfäffikersee siehts anders aus; dieser ist kleiner und hat entsprechend schneller die geeignete Eisdecke (18-21cm) und war daher auch in den vergangen Jahren immer wieder mal begehbar gewesen.

In den ersten Tagen waren bis zu 50’000 Leute auf dem Pfäffikersee. Leider habe ich das verpasst zu fotografieren. Meine Fotos hier sind letztes Wochenende entstanden, wo nur noch ca. 20’000 Personen sich auf den beiden Seen tummelten. Der Pfäffikersee wurde von den Behörden ganz und der Greifensee etwa 1/3 freigegeben.
