Apple hat heute die Ergebnisse des dritten Quartals für das Geschäftsjahr 2005 bekannt gegeben und die können sich sehen lassen. Apple fuhr den höchsten Gewinn der Firmengeschichte ein. Er beläuft sich auf 320 Millionen US-Dollar. Gleichzeitig erwirtschaftete die Jobs-Company einen Umsatz von 3,52 Milliarden US-Dollar. Der Nettogewinn beläuft sich auf 320 Millionen. Dies entspricht im Vorjahresvergleich einer Umsatzsteigerung von 75 Prozent und einer Gewinnverbesserung von 425 Prozent. Die Bruttogewinnspanne lag bei 29,7 Prozent, im Vergleich zu 27,8 Prozent im Vorjahresquartal. Der nicht-amerikanische Anteil am Umsatz wird von Apple mit 39 Prozent beziffert.
