Jetzt muss man von einer Volksbewegung sprechen: Über 1000 Menschen in Bern, 400 in Zürich, 200 in Luzern, 100 in Basel und ein paar Dutzend in St. Gallen, Thun und Kreuzlingen – ohne jede Organisation. Wer hätte das vor zwei Wochen gedacht, als knapp 100 Leute dem Beispiel von Alec Gagneux folgten und auf dem Bundesplatz Mahnwache hielten für die demokratischen Grundrechte?

Die Fragen und Forderungen sind dieselben: Wo ist die Evidenz für den Lockdown? Von wem hat sich der Bundesrat beraten lassen? Warum bleiben so viele Massnahmen in Kraft, die dazu noch eingeführt wurden, als die Infektion bereits rückläufig war? Warum darf man ab Montag wieder konsumieren, aber seine Bürgerrechte nicht wahrnehmen?

Natürlich waren einige Leute wütend, mit gutem Grund. Bundespräsidentin Simonetta Sommaruga beschwor vergangene Woche das Parlament, das Corona-Virus dürfe die Demokratie nicht beschädigen. Gleichzeitig bereitet sie die Überführung des Notrechts in dringliches Bundesrecht vor, dessen Einführung der Souverän nicht verhindern kann. Es kann selbst bei einem Referendum sofort in Kraft treten. Wenn sich bei der höchsten Schweizerin eine derart tiefe Kluft zwischen Wort und Tat auftut, dann ist eine eidgenössische Wut nicht das letzte der Gefühle. Einige nannten die drohende Umwandlung des Notrechts in ordentliches Recht ausdrücklich als Grund für ihre Mahnwache. Und nicht wenige haben den Eindruck, dass der Bundesrat sein Vertrauen bereits definitiv verspielt habe.

Dann wollte er die Swiss begleiten, wie sie mit einem Sonderflug Masken in die Schweiz bringt. Auch da durfte er nicht mit. Er berichtet noch von diversen anderen Beispielen. Stets läuft er an Sicherheitsleuten oder Pressesprecherinnen auf.

Es sei zurzeit unmöglich, Bilder zu machen, die mit unabhängigem Blick dokumentieren würden: Das war die Pandemie im Frühling 2020. Es gibt zwar Bilder vom Notspital oder vom Flug der Swiss – aber sie wurden von gewöhnlichen Mitarbeitern oder der PR-Abteilung geschossen. Es sind Bilder, die nichts mit unabhängigem Journalismus zu tun haben.
