«Jetzt nicht nachlassen!»Der jüngsten Pandemie-Botschaft des Bundesrates haben etliche hundert Menschen aus der ganzen Schweiz auf ihre eigene Art Folge geleistet: Sie machten auf dem Bundesplatz in einer Mahnwache klar, dass sie keine Einschränkung der verfassungsmässigen Rechte akzeptieren.
Heute waren es dann trotz Regen 300 bis 400 Leute aus der ganzen Schweiz, die mit guter Laune und witzigen Plakaten den Bundesplatz in ein spontanes direkt-demokratisches Volksfest verwandelten. Etliche gingen zum ersten Mal aus politischen Gründen auf die Strasse. Es wurde diskutiert, gelacht und gesungen.
Warum sind die Menschen ohne Aufruf, ohne Einladung und Organisation auf den Bundesplatz gekommen? Weil sie genug haben von der intransparenten Informationspolitik. Weil sie angesichts der stark abnehmenden Infektionsrate der Massnahmen überdrüssig sind. Weil sie befürchten, dass Notrecht zu ordentlichem Recht wird – jetzt, wo der Bundesrat seine entsprechende Absicht geäussert hat.
Nach dem friedlichen Verlauf der letzten Mahnwache war die Polizei heute deutlich besser gelaunt. Mit den Leuten auf dem Platz gab es sogar ein paar freundliche Gespräche von Mensch zu Mensch. Und als sie schliesslich die Räumung durchführte, war sie so langsam und gewaltfrei, dass man fast von einem Kompromiss zwischen der Polizei und dem Souverän sprechen darf.
Ein eindrückliches Bild am Schluss: Eine junge Frau, sitzend auf dem geräumten Platz, die sich nicht zum Weggehen bewegen liess. Ihr Schild: Wer in der Demokratie schläft, wacht in der Diktatur auf.
Für den kommenden Samstag ist wiederum nichts organisiert. Aber viele sagten spontan und ungefragt: Wir kommen wieder. Sie wollen dabei sein, wenn wie aus dem Nichts ein politischer Wille entsteht. Aber es ist kein Nichts – es ist das, was ein Gebilde wie die Eidgenossenschaft zusammenhält, die Verfassung und die Überzeugung der Menschen: Wir sind der Souverän.
