Dienstag, 6. August 2013: Mein Hoster meines Tor Exit-Routers hat 62 abuse-complaints erhalten und mir weitergeleitet.

Donnerstag, 8. August 2013: Lavabit, ein E-Mail Anbieter mit Fokus auf Privatsphäre, macht dicht.

Freitag, 9. August 2013: Silent Circle, Anbieter von verschiedenen Diensten für verschlüsselte Kommunikation, stellt seinen E-Mail Dienst ein.

Freitag, 9. August 2013: Das FBI besucht Noisebridge, ein US-Hackerspace, wegen eines Tor Exit-Nodes.

Dienstag, 20. August 2013: Der Guardian wird durch den britischen Geheimdienst gezwungen, die Festplatten mit den Dokumenten von Snowden zu zerstören. Die Pressefreiheit ist somit abgeschafft.

1. The government and corporate powers have it strongly in their interests to keep drugs illegal. The police forces are largely funded by drugs, either via taxation to support the war on drugs or via direct asset seizure related to the war on drugs. If drugs are legalized, police budgets are going to free fall and a lot of police are going to lose their jobs. Agencies like the DEA will essentially be obsolete. The police also gain a lot of power because of the war on drugs, if they smell weed in your car or house they can search you, they can arrest people for drug charges and offer them plea deals to snitch on targets the police are interested in, they get all kinds of paramilitary toys to try to fight the war on drugs, etc. The politicians love the war on drugs because it directly funds a lot of their friends, in the case of republicans it funds their friends in the private prison industry, in the case of the democrats it funds a huge portion of people who go to college for sociology and social services degrees. In fact, a lot of sociologists and people in social services have absolutely no skills and make the bulk of their money by teaching classes that people who are arrested with drugs are court ordered to attend, or by being „drug abuse specialists“ and working at facilities that people who are arrested with drugs are sentenced to be held at. Many millions of jobs will be lost if drugs are legalized, and billions of dollars going to private industry will no longer be going there, and these are the same private industries that pump tons of money into the campaigns of politicians. So essentially we have a conspiracy to keep drugs illegal between the police, politicians, and major corporations ranging from the private prison industry to the pharmaceutical industry.

Set during Boom Festival 2012 the documentary THE ALCHEMY OF SPIRIT tells the story of thousands of people from across the world, that come together every 2 years in the August full moon. Wie so nach und nach alle schönen Verschwörungstheorien, für die Leute über Jahrzehnte als paranoide Spinner verunglimpft wurden, sich als wahr herausstellen. Die Existenz der NSA war jahrelang eine Verschwörungstheorie, dann Echelon, dann dass sie auch Amis abhören. Das Nato-Stay-Behind-Netzwerk war Verschwörungstheorie. Dass die Polizei Undercover-Cops als Provokateure einsetzt, um einen Vorwand zu schaffen, Demonstranten plattzuprügeln, war lange Jahre eine Verschwörungstheorie. Dass auch der Westen unsere Post gelesen hat, nicht nur der Osten, war jahrelang Verschwörungstheorie. Dass die CDU sich über Schwarzgeld finanziert. Dass Atomkraftwerke gefährlich sind und in die Luft fliegen können. Dass in Militärlabors Krankheitserreger tiefergelegt werden, für höhere Tödlichkeit, zum Einsatz im Krieg. Dass Regierungen Gehirnwäsche-Programme haben. Bewaffnete Raumstationen. Orbitale Laserwaffen. Dass Entwicklungshilfe Industrieförderung ist. Dass vorgeblich humanitäre Kriege tatsächlich aus handfesten imperialistischen Gründen wie Ölrechte geführt werden. Hey, sogar dass der Westen in fernen Ländern an Putschen beteiligt ist, war mal nur eine Verschwörungstheorie. Oder dass Geheimdienste Drogen schmuggeln.

So langsam werden die Theorien knapp, die sich noch nicht als wahr herausgestellt haben. Was kommt als nächstes? Queen Elizabeth ist wirklich ein außerirdisches Reptil?!

Aber die größte kognitive Dissonanz tut sich gerade zwischen „wir hören seit Jahren insgeheim die gesamte Bevölkerung ab“ und „Bradley Manning muss wegen Verrats lebenslänglich ins Gefängnis, weil er der Presse die Wahrheit verraten hat“ auf, finde ich. Wie die ihr Abhör-Programm mit der gleichen „das ist für die nationale Sicherheit“-Floskel begründen wie ihr Verhalten gegenüber dem Manning. Stellt euch mal vor, der Manning hätte das NSA-Schnüffelprogramm verraten. Was die wohl mit dem machen, der diese Dokumente dem Guardian zugesteckt hat?

Die Russen haben das übrigens schon seit Jahren gesagt, dass die NSA alle abhört. Hat ihnen keiner glauben wollen.

Und wisst ihr was? In ein paar Wochen wird das nahtlos zu „haben wir doch schon immer gewusst, dass die Amis das machen“ übergehen. Wie es auch bei Echelon war. Und der Existenz der NSA. Erst „du bekloppter Verschwörungstheoretiker“, dann kommen Beweise raus, und dann, nahtlos, haben es alle schon immer gewusst. Achtet mal drauf. Niemand wird sich in ein paar Wochen noch daran erinnern können, andere Leute als Verschwörungstheoretiker abgetan zu haben, weil sie behauptet haben, die NSA höre auch Amerikaner ab. Aus unserer Sicht in Europa kann das ja eh wurscht sein, dass wir alle abgehört werden ist ja schon seit den 80er Jahren keine Verschwörungstheorie mehr.

To my friends who live outside of Turkey:

I am writing to let you know what is going on in Istanbul for the last five days. I personally have to write this because at the time of my writing most of the media sources are shut down by the government and the word of mouth and the internet are the only ways left for us to explain ourselves and call for help and support.

Last week of May 2013 a group of people most of whom did not belong to any specific organization or ideology got together in Istanbul’s Gezi Park. Among them there were many of my friends and yoga students. Their reason was simple: To prevent and protest the upcoming demolishing of the park for the sake of building yet another shopping mall at very center of the city. There are numerous shopping malls in Istanbul, at least one in every neighborhood! The tearing down of the trees was supposed to begin early Thursday morning. People went to the park with their blankets, books and children. They put their tents down and spent the night under the trees. Early in the morning when the bulldozers started to pull the hundred-year-old trees out of the ground, they stood up against them to stop the operation.

They did nothing other than standing in front of the machines.

No newspaper, no television channel was there to report the protest. It was a complete media black out.

But the police arrived with water cannon vehicles and pepper spray. They chased the crowds out of the park.

In the evening of May 31st the number of protesters multiplied. So did the number of police forces around the park. Meanwhile local government of Istanbul shut down all the ways leading up to Taksim square where the Gezi Park is located. The metro was shut down, ferries were cancelled, roads were blocked.

Yet more and more people made their way up to the center of the city by walking.

They came from all around Istanbul. They came from all different backgrounds, different ideologies, different religions. They all gathered to prevent the demolition of something bigger than the park:

The right to live as honorable citizens of this country.

They gathered and continued sitting in the park. The riot police set fire to the demonstrators’ tents and attacked them with pressurized water, pepper and tear gas during a night raid. Two young people were run over by the panzers and were killed. Another young woman, a friend of mine, was hit in the head by one of the incoming tear gas canisters. The police were shooting them straight into the crowd. After a three hour operation she is still in Intensive Care Unit and in very critical condition. As I write this we don’t know if she is going to make it. This blog is dedicated to her.

These people are my friends. They are my students, my relatives. They have no «hidden agenda» as the state likes to say. Their agenda is out there. It is very clear. The whole country is being sold to corporations by the government, for the construction of malls, luxury condominiums, freeways, dams and nuclear plants. The government is looking for (and creating when necessary) any excuse to attack Syria against its people’s will.

On top of all that, the government control over its people’s personal lives has become unbearable as of late. The state, under its conservative agenda passed many laws and regulations concerning abortion, cesarean birth, sale and use of alcohol and even the color of lipstick worn by the airline stewardesses.

People who are marching to the center of Istanbul are demanding their right to live freely and receive justice, protection and respect from the State. They demand to be involved in the decision-making processes about the city they live in.

What they have received instead is excessive force and enormous amounts of tear gas shot straight into their faces. Three people lost their eyes.

Yet they still march. Hundreds and thousands of citizens from all walks of life then joined them to support for the protestors. Couple of more thousand passed the Bosporus Bridge on foot to support the people of Taksim. They were met with more water cannons and more pepper spray, more hostility. Four people died, thousands of people were injured.

No newspaper or TV channel was there to report the events. They were busy with broadcasting news about Miss Turkey and “the strangest cat of the world”.

Police kept chasing people and spraying them with pepper spray to an extent that stray dogs and cats were poisoned and died by it.

Schools, hospitals and even 5 star hotels around Taksim Square opened their doors to the injured. Doctors filled the classrooms and hotel rooms to provide first aid. Some police officers refused to spray innocent people with tear gas and quit their jobs. Around the square they placed jammers to prevent internet connection and 3g networks were blocked. Residents and businesses in the area provided free wireless network for the people on the streets. Restaurants offered food and water for free.

People in Ankara and İzmir gathered on the streets to support the resistance in Istanbul. Demonstations spread to other cities where citizens were faced more brutality and hostiliy from police. Hundred of thousands kept joining.

Mainstream media kept showing Miss Turkey and “the strangest cat of the world”.

I am writing this letter so that you know what is going on in Istanbul. Mass media will not tell you any of this. Not in my country at least. Please post as many as articles as you see on the Internet and spread the word.

I do not belong to a political party. I don’t believe in politics. I don’t defend any ideology and I am not on the side of any regime. Like many others in Turkey I am tired and frustrated from the polarization between Kemalist seculars and the Islamists. I don’t belong to any of them. I believe in moving away from polarization and towards a new way of relating. I know many people who are out on the streets of Istanbul share the way I think and I know we are not the only ones. We just want to live our lives with human dignity.

As I was posting articles that explained what is happening in Istanbul on my Facebook page last night someone asked me the following question:

«What are you hoping to gain by complaining about our country to foreigners?»

This blog is my answer to her.

By so called «complaining» about my country I am hoping to gain:

Freedom of expression and speech,

Respect for human rights,

Control over the decisions I make concerning my on my body,

The right to legally congregate in any part of the city without being considered a terrorist.

But most of all by spreading the word to you, my friends who live in other parts of the world, I am hoping to get your awareness, support and help!

Vor einem Jahr: Die Welt in 19 Jahren

So sieht die Welt in 18 Jahren aus:

• Lady Gaga ist tot.
• Facebook ist Konkurs.
• Das Internet ist ein verteiltes Meshnet, verschlüsselt, von Bürgern betrieben und überall gratis verfügbar. Jeder kann mit jedem peeren. Es gibt keine Monopole und Provider mehr.
• Alle Dienste im Internet werden dezentral gebildet und genutzt.
• Die Würde, Privatsphäre und Individualität von jedem wird geschätzt und respektiert.
• Jeder hat einen kleinen Kaltfusionsreaktor bei sich stehen und erzeugt sich seine Energie selbst.
• Jedes Land ist unabhängig und vielfältig. Es gibt keine Zusammenschlüsse und Bünde mehr wie die EU oder UNO. Dafür aber Kulturelle Vielfalt und Ausdrucksformen.
• Wir leben in einer Anarchie.
• Entscheidungen werden im Konsens gefällt und haben nur auf die unmittelbare Region bzw. die unmittelbar Betroffenen einen Einfluss.
• Es gibt keine Einkaufszentren mehr, sondern Dorflädeli und Marktplätze, Agoras.
• Händler transportieren Waren von Stadt zu Stadt.
• Gehandelt wird unter dem Modell des Agorismus. Jeder Mensch ist frei, jegliche Waren mit jedem zu tauschen.
• Es gibt kein „Gegeneinander“ mehr, sondern Menschen bilden lose Zusammenschlüsse in Interessensgemeinschaften und Projekten, und nutzen ihre Talente, machen das, was sie am besten können und was ihnen Spass macht, und bringen so tolle neue Erfindungen hervor.
• Wir erobern den Weltraum.
• SAP und JVM werden in einen Hundezwinger gesperrt, wo sie hilflos mit Exceptions um sich schmeissen bis sie sterben.
• Man gibt gerne Geld aus, weil man’s hat, und weil man etwas schönes in der Welt schaffen will.
• Kryptowährungen werden genutzt. Keine Bank und keine zentrale Institution stellt mehr Geld her.
• Fähige Architekten bauen prunkvolle Tempelanlagen mit Baustil, welche sich harmonisch in die Natur integrieren.
• Es gibt mindestens zwei Sorten von Tempelanlagen:
• Techniktempel aka Hackerspaces, wo sich kreative Köpfe versammeln und an Projekten werkeln,
• Einweihungstempel; wo die Mysterien des Universums gelehrt werden und nach der Frage auf die Antwort nach dem Leben, dem Universum und dem ganzen Rest gesucht wird.
• Lernen durch Nachahmung: Es gibt auf jedem Gebiet begeisterte Spezialisten, denen man über die Schulter schauen kann.
• Man macht, was man liebt. Es gibt keine Papierli und Verdummungsanstalten mehr.
• Bildung ist kein Zwang, sondern eine Leidenschaft, getrieben durch Neugier und Experimentierfreude.
• Man darf alles tun, alles kopieren, neu zusammenfügen, forschen.
• Patente sind ein übles Relikt aus der Vergangenheit.
• Arbeit ist freiwillig. Jeder hat genug zum Leben.
• Graffiti ist Kunst und wird frei ausgelebt.
• Es gibt Schwebeplattformen, auf denen man dann in der Stratosphäre mit dem Gleitschirm starten kann
• Die Drachen feiern ihre Renaissance und leben unter den Menschen. Sie spucken Feuer, beschützen uns und lassen sich bereiten.
• Nebst normalen Reisezentren gibt es zwei zusätzliche:
• Ein intergalaktisches Reisezentrum, wo sich Heerscharen mutiger Helden treffen, um Hilferufen von anderen Planeten nachzugehen #Abenteuer
• Das Reisezentrum innerer Welten, wo man mithilfe psychedelischer Substanzen Reisen in die Abgründe der eigenen Psyche und in die Tiefen der Seele unternimmt.
• Ich habe ein eigenes Nullgravitationsraumschiff mit eigener Heimbasis. Ausgestattet mit einem präkognitiven Radar, Elementarkonverter, Hyperraumantrieb, Unsichtbarkeitsschild und allerlei feinem technischen Schnickschnack.
• Mein Hausdrache lebt in seiner Drachenhöhle. Wir wohnen ja direkt am Rande eines aktiven Vulkans :), wo es schön warm ist.
• Es ist mindestens tausend Tage pro Jahr Sommer mit Temperaturen über 60°C.
• Der Drache begleitet mich, wie auch gute Freunde, auf meinen Abenteuerreisen.
• Es gibt viel zu bereisen, zu erforschen und zu entdecken. Andere Sternenvölker, experimentelle Technologien, ferne Welten.
• Ich freue mich! Das wird episch!

Agorismus ist revolutionärer Markt-Anarchismus.

In einer marktanarchistischen Gesellschaft würden Regeln und Sicherheit durch deren Mitspieler statt durch politische Institutionen gegeben werden.

Die Ursachen von Krieg

Bedrohungen durch fremde Herrschaft, ideologische und religiöse Unterschiede, der Verlust des internationalen „Gesichts“ sind alles Rechtfertigungen für Kriege; sie sind nützlich, um die Massen zu überzeugen, einen Krieg zu führen. Doch in Wirklichkeit gibt es nur einen wahren Grund für Krieg: Plünderung. Und das ist es auch, was Steuern sind. Der Mechanismus der institutionalisierten Plünderung ist der Staat. Deshalb, der wahre Gegner von Kriegen ist ein Gegner des Staats; ein Staatsfeind.

Weil Kriege meistens aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen geführt werden, ist eine echte freie Marktwirtschaft das beste Mittel dagegen, wogegen Protektionismus – Zölle und Einfuhrbeschränkungen – ihren Beitrag für einen Krieg leisten. Wie es ein Denker gesagt hat, „Wenn Güter und Dienstleistungen die Grenzen nicht überschreiten können, werden es Armeen tun.“

Solange der Staat existiert, werden Kriege existieren.

Psychedelics are not illegal because a loving government is concerned that you will hurt yourself by smoking pot or tripping in you bedroom. Psychedelics are illegal because they make you question authority. They open your eyes and lead you to question the wrongs of society in a fundamental way. Psychedelics are anti-brainwashing agents.

On April 16, 1943, Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann accidentally dosed himself with minute traces of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide-25 that had been sitting on his chemical shelf for five years just waiting to be unleashed like a magical genie on the world, granting wishes. As the world’s first laboratory-synthesized inner space journey came on, Hofmann began seeing „images of extraordinary plasticity and vividness… accompanied by an intense, kaleidoscopic-like play of colors.“ Three days later, on April 19, Hofmann took the first deliberate LSD trip and, totally, meltingly overcome by the intensity of his experience, was forced to bicycle home and into the history books.

Bicycle Day commemorates that original bicycle trip that changed the world and helped give birth to the psychedelic counterculture movement. The act of coming together is a symbolic gesture for a subculture, not necessarily one involving drugs. Bicycle Day has been celebrated officially around the world since 1986, when the Californian psychedelic community rallied against the dictatorial oppression of the American „War on Drugs“— subverting the propaganda machine of the government by coming together to play, laugh… and ride bikes. What fun!

As part of the global commemoration of psychedelic subculture’s only Holy-day, everyone is invited to celebrate with their own private ride into the Unknown. As group anarchy mutates into organized chaos, you too get to be a part of the organizing committee.
