Filmindustrie: File-Sharing-Verurteilung ohne Beweise

Die Filmindustrie wehrt sich gegen die derzeitigen Vorschriften. Sie fordern Verurteilungen auch ohne klaren Nachweis von Copyright-Verletzungen.

Oft mangelt es der Medienindustrie an klaren Beweisen, um Copyright-Verletzer zu Schadenersatz zu verurteilen. «Dies soll sich ändern», warnen die Anwälte des US-Verbandes der Filmindustrie MPAA. Sie fordern Schadenersatzverurteilungen von bis zu 150.000 Dollar auch ohne konkrete Beweise gegen den Beschuldigten.
Könnte sich die Medienindustrie damit durchsetzen, so würden viele Internetuser zu unrecht zur Verantwortung gezogen, da oft Kinder, Partner oder Mitbewohner die Täter sind.
