„Wir könnten ja eine Kinderparty machen mit meinen Böxli“, liess ich am ersten Abend nach dem Donner-Testlauf beiläufig fallen. „Nur so als Idee; wir stellen sie einfach irgendwo auf und machen unsere eigene Kinderparty.“
Nun denn, diese Idee liess den einen Bub nicht mehr los. „Wenn machemer Chinderdisco?“ „Hüt gits Chinderparty, oder?“ stürmt ein anderes Kind. Ok, ok. Heute ist Brandnacht -- „wir können ja nach dem Essen und vor dem Feuer eine Kinderdisco machen“, willige ich ein. Aber alleine schaffe ich das nicht, ihr müsst mir helfen. Alleine würde ich mich das niemals getrauen.
Wir brauchen einen Tisch und Stühle. Der Bub rennt los und bringt eine Harasse vom Klimacamp als DJ-Pult; das solarbetriebene Soundsystem dürfen wir verwenden; ich bringe Laptop, Audiointerface und Kabel.
Jetzt gilt es also ernst! OMG. Ein wenig Muffensausen habe ich schon -- immerhin ist es der Abend vor der Brandnacht -- der Hauptabend. Es spielt keine andere Band. Es gibt keine andere Bühne. Wir sind der Mainact am Mainevent auf der Mainstage. 😮
Ich bin nervös. Doch die Kinder weichen nun nicht mehr von meiner Seite. Ein kleines Mädchen legt ihr Ärmchen um meinen Hals und hält mich ein wenig, um mein Nervenflattern zu beruhigen. Wir sind beim Soundcheck.
Es soll ein Wunschkonzert werden; der Bub neben mir nimmt die Liederwünsche der Kinder entgegen, verifiziert sie via YouTube aufm Handy und schreibt sie dann sortiert nach Genre auf seinen Notizblock. Auf dem Laptop sind zwei Browserfenster mit YouTube offen und ich versuche, einigermassen sanfte Übergänge hinzubekommen.
So. Jetzt ist alles bereit. Die Abendsonne taucht den Wald hinter uns in warmes Licht -- was für eine schöne Hintergrundkulisse! Das ist unser Bühnenbild.
„Behalte die Nadel im Auge.“ Der Verstärker vom Solarsoundsystem sollte nicht überlastet werden. Ich starte mit Chaman Imana als Intro und fahre die Lautstärke hoch, bis die Nadel bei 60 anschlägt. Danach kommt auch schon der erste Liederwunsch. Wir starten mit der Sparte „Pop“ -- Backstreet Boys. Krass, die Jungs gibts immer noch! Die waren schon zu meiner Jugendzeit in den Bravo-Heftli.
Die Tanzfläche ist eröffnet! Doch die meisten Kinder stehen hinter der Bühne und schauen mir über die Schulter. „Ihr sollt tanzen!“ ruft der Bub im blauen Shirt ganz entrüstet. „Los, füüre!“ -- aber es kommen immer wieder neugierige Kinder zu uns. Sie wollen wissen, wie es hinter den Kulissen abläuft.
Hey, auf Soundcloud gibt es den Ententanz -- aber mit einem durchgestrichenen Äntli -- Hardstyle. Diese 30 Sekunden gönnen wir uns jetzt -- schliesslich heisst das Festival „Äntli“.
„Wenn du Petra Sturzenegger ablässt, dann mache ich mit“ hat Chrigel beim Znacht gesagt. Ja gut, dann lass mal sehen. Ein Erwachsenenmusikwunsch darf ja auch mit dabei sein.
Oje! 😀 Es ist ein Hüttenkracher. Ich habe das Lied nur 20 Sekunden angespielt, schon stürmt Chrigel wie’s Bisiwätter zu uns und stimmt auf der Tanzfläche lauthals mit ein. Ein Gaudi! Nach und nach trudelt auch das Rest-OK ein und alle fangen an zu tanzen.

Sascha kommt zu mir: „Chasch ‚ich möchte ein Eisbär sein‘ abspiele?“ -- jemand hat ein Eisbärenkostüm an und entsprechend muss natürlich der passende Soundtrack dazu gespielt werden. Die Erwachsenen werden zu Kindern, formen eine Polonaise und tanzen im Kreis. Ich hätte ja nie gedacht, dass diese Kinderdisco so einschlägt.
Ein Bub wünscht sich ein Zähneputzlied. Das bringt mich auf eine wunderbare Idee für den Übergang von „Pop“ nach „Rock“: Ich mache im Tapedeck B Zähneputzen von Knorkator bereit. Das hat mal jemand an einer Retraite gespielt und das stiess extrem auf Anklang. „Yeah, Knorkator, ändlich!“ freuen sich auch die Erwachsenen. Natürlich darf auch das Kinderlied nicht fehlen. Ein Mädchen hatte sich „Believer“ gewünscht, aber da wir nun im Rockmodus sind, kommt die Metal-Version von den Frog Leap Studios. Die Liederliste von Within Temptation darf natürlich genausowenig fehlen und zum Schluss wünscht sich jemand DJ Bobo -- „Dance with me“ und „Freedom“. Das sind Klassiker aus meiner Kindheit!
Mit dem bisschen Lichttechnik, das ich dabeihab -- eine Stirnlampe -- beleuchte ich die Tanzfläche und das improvisierte DJ-Pult.
Es ist der Abend der Brandnacht, alle tanzen und feiern ausgelassen -- und ich bin der DJ! Die Kinder hüpfen und springen und unterstützen mich, wo sie nur können; der Bub mit der Liederwunschliste bleibt immer an meiner Seite.
Ich mache mit meiner Technik Menschen glücklich und die Kinder sind immer bei mir. So sieht es aus, wenn das Universum mir einen Liebesbrief schreibt.
