Folgenden Erlebnisbericht habe ich von einem Leser aus der Schweiz bekommen:
Guten Morgen Freeman,
soeben war ich im Coop und habe 2 Artikel im Wert von Fr. 3.25! gekauft, worauf ich gebeten wurde mit der Kreditkarte zu bezahlen.
Ich habe gesagt, dass ich keine Karte bei mir habe. Die Antwort war:
„Heute geht das noch, ab morgen wahrscheinlich nicht mehr, dass ist sicherer für unsere Angestellten.“
Ich habe nicht gewusst, dass Geld husten und niesen kann.
Wir Konsumenten wissen ja auch nicht, wer die Waren anfasst und ob diese kontaminiert sind.
Die Kassiererinnen arbeiten mit Handschuhen hinter neu montierten Plexiglasscheiben.
Durchsichtige Ausrede von Coop, denn es geht darum, das Bargeld abzuschaffen. Wenn die Krise vorbei ist, geht man sicher nicht wieder zurück zu Cash.
Bargeld ist ein legales Zahlungsmittel, kann also gar nicht abgelehnt werden. Man muss darauf bestehen.
Einfach auf die Theke legen und gehen.
Im Privatbereich bei Transaktionen akzeptiere ich nur Cash oder Gold oder Waren, denn das hat man in der Hand. Guthaben auf der Bank können sich bei einem Bail-In in Luft auflösen.
