Klirr. Das war das Scherbeln meiner Vorstellungen, die sich in der Eiszeit Ende Juni in nasse Luft aufgelöst haben. Es hat für portugiesische Verhältnisse gerade knapp unter Null, wenn man die Nullgradgrenze auf 25°C setzt. Nein, so habe ich mir den Start des Being Gatherings nicht vorgestellt. Und so schimmert ein Regenbogen über dem Flughafen, der Schutzengel heisst mich willkommen. Der Regenbogen ist sein Signal.
Die Reise beginnt.
Ein kleines Mädchen sitzt neben ihrer Mutter vor mir im Bus. Zoey und Sabine, wie wir uns vorstellen. Neben mir Ricardo aus Brasilien. Da schau mal – Glitzerknet! Die Kleine dreht sich zu uns um und legt eine kleine Kugel hin. Wir formen daraus Figuren. Was kann man machen? Schlangen. Ein Schmetterling. Oder eine Krawatte. Ricardo formt eine 8. Einige Minuten später reicht Zoey den Knet in Form einer 9 wieder nach hinten. „Mach etwas neues“, übersetzt ihre Mutter. Die beiden kommen aus Belgien und sprechen flämisch. Ich forme eine Brezel. Jetzt kommen Nastüchli und Babybelwachs dazu. Wir amüsieren uns köstlich. Und während der Bus tiefer in die Landschaft fährt, wird Zoey immer aktiver. Nastüchlifetzen prasseln auf Ricardo, und er versucht mit aller Kraft, den Deckel der Flasche Wasser, die Zoey über ihm ausquetscht, dichtzuhalten.
Wir treffen auf dem Gelände ein.
So sieht die Liminal Village aus, wenn sie nicht in Betrieb ist. Die beiden Komposttoiletten vom Backstage-Bereich stehen noch da. Diejenigen, die ich benutzen durfte, als ich Eneas das erste mal getroffen habe. Das Gerüst fürs Zelt vorne steht ebenfalls noch.
Statt frischem Salat und Gemüse ziert jetzt trockenes Gras die Stelle, mit der ich mit Eneas und Liv letztes Jahr Fotos gemacht habe. Oder vor drei Jahren mit ihm den Sonnenuntergang fotografiert habe. Oder vor fünf Jahren an meinem ersten Boom mir meine Freunde über den Weg gelaufen sind. Gott – so viele Erinnerungen kleben am Gelände!
Ich laufe weiter. Manchmal kann ich die Tränen kaum unterdrücken. Hier hat das Initiationsritual vor drei Jahren stattgefunden. Ich schlendere weiter. Der Jack-Felsen. Ob er noch da ist? Wie es ihm wohl geht? Hallo Jack-Felsen. So gut, dich wiederzusehen! Der Tanztempel. Statt ihm steht da jetzt ein grosses blaues Zelt, mit „Dojo“ angeschrieben. Die Healingarea. Wo ich 2012 meinen Horrortrip auskuriert habe. Der Geschmack von Räucherstäbchen. Ich begrüsse das Gelände, alle Orte mit ihren Erinnerungen und Geschichten.
Der Kopf ist neu. Wunderschön gemacht!
Noch nie sah ich das Boomland so Wolkenverhangen wie jetzt. Ich habe es wärmer in Erinnerung, viel wärmer.
Beim Zurücklaufen kreuze ich mit Ricardo den Weg. Hey, da gibt’s ein Eröffnungsritual. Huch? Davon stand aber nix im Programm?! Oh, doch. Unten, als kleinen Hinweis über der Karte, ausserhalb des Zeitplans, der ja erst morgen startet. Und wann ist diese Eröffnungszeremonie? „In 10 Minuten!“ Na dann nix wie los, aber im Laufschritt! Wir sind zum Glück in der Nähe des Sacred Fire und kommen gerade rechtzeitig.
