Ein Bitcoin ist jetzt über 2’000.- Wert!
Hab ichs nicht gesagt? Hatte ich es nicht gesagt? Ich erinnere mich noch, als ich 2013 auf dem Balkon stand mit jemandem, von dem bekannt ist, dass er Geld für Investitionen hätte. Wie er damals gemuckst und sich rumgedrückt hat, „ja aber, Bitcoin, meinst du das wird was?“ „Es kann gar nicht anders!“ antwortete ich ihm. „Der Wert wird nur zunehmen, weil die Menge begrenzt ist. Bei einer Kryptowährung können die Banken nicht einfach nach Gutdünken farbiges Papier drucken.“
Würde ich heute wieder mit ihm auf dem Balkon stehen und er mir was vorjammern würde von wegen „Ach hätte ich doch“, dann würde ich jetzt ein grosses Fass Häme über ihn ergiessen: „Trottel!“ Wie verwest muss das Hirni von diesen sogenannten Aktienmarkt-„Experten“, Tradern, Finanzanalysten und Wirtschaftsheinis eigentlich sein, um NICHT in Bitcoin zu investieren?
Andere weinten mir die Schulter voll, als der Kurs bei 1’000.- war. „Ach hätte ich doch Bitcoins gekauft, als sie noch 300.- kosteten.“ Ja mein lieber, und jetzt ist es 2017, und was hatte ich dir damals gesagt? Das gleiche wie heute: KAUF JETZT, damit du dann nicht heulend zu mir rennst, wenn er auf 10’000.- ist.
Und wie haben damals unsere Medientriemelchen Propaganda gegen Bitcoin gemacht? Von „Die Bitcoin-App ist abgestürzt, das ist nicht brauchbar“ über „der Bitcoin-Markt wurde gehackt, alles unsicher!“
Was sie eigentlich sagen wollten: „Kauft ja nicht dieses Ding, das könnte sonst unseren König vom Thron stossen und seine Herrschaft gefährden. Und falls wir nicht schreiben, dass Bitcoin schlecht ist, dürfen wir nie wieder etwas schreiben.
Wir, das Propagandaorgan der Herrscher.“

So hässlich kann Propaganda aussehen:
Drei Jahre später lehne ich mich amüsiert zurück und halte meine Stinkflossen auf die Tischplatte – das hat sich aber gelohnt! Soll ich mir nur eine neue Kamera mit Mikrofon und Stativ kaufen, oder gleich eine neue Gleitschirmausrüstung? Soll ich die dicke Siegerzigarre im Premiumdeluxe-Naturabier im Eschenholzfass aus freilaufender Auslaufhaltung mit einem genüsslichen *Zisch* ausdrücken, oder doch lieber im vergoldeten Diamantaschenbecher? Oder soll ich doch lieber warten, bis ich mir davon ein paar Häuser, Inseln und Raumschiffe kaufen kann?
Keine Sorge, so dramatisch viele Bitcoins konnte ich mir auch wieder nicht leisten. Aber sehr schön zu sehen, wie sich eine Nerdwährung durchsetzt und alle Armen, die schon von Anfang an daran glaubten, reicher macht. Plötzlich hat jeder eine Chance auf Wohlstand, und nicht nur die, denen bereits alles gehört und die schon immer reich waren. Eat this, Banksters!
Das bringt mich zu weiteren Gedankengängen. Was ist überhaupt „Wert“? Die Zahl in meiner Bitcoin-Brieftasche ist über Jahre gleich geblieben, und plötzlich bekomme ich mehr Gegenwert. Dieses 0.300 BTC war mal ein verkauftes Enigmabox-Jahresabo, und jetzt ist es eine Sony DSC-RX100M2. Da ist einfach so eine neue Kamera aus dem Nichts entstanden, ohne dass ich irgendwas dafür tun musste. Dennoch ging alles mit rechten Dingen zu; es wurde niemand betrogen, der Kunde hat den Gegenwert, mein Gegenwert ist einfach mehr geworden. Ein Gleitschirm kostet heute 2 Bitcoins und in einem Jahr noch 1 Bitcoin. Ist der Schirm günstiger geworden? Nein. Was generiert denn den Wert? Der Glaube anderer Leute daran, wie viel Wert das hat! Was ich mir kaufen kann, hängt vom Glauben aller anderen ab. Interessant…
