Wenn es in England allein schon so aussieht, wie sieht es dann weltweit aus?

Militärbasen sind mit Zäunen und Mauern abgeschirmt (oft beides). Der Rasen ist mässig gepflegt; je nach Zweck sind auch Einschlaglöcher und Spurrinnen sichtbar. Oft befindet sich ein grosser Parkplatz am Eingang, und dieser ist mit einer Barriere versehen. Die Umzäunung ist zusätzlich mit Scheinwerfern und Kameras bewacht.

Was früher Burgen waren, sind heute Militärbasen. Das Volk wird genau so beherrscht wie zu allen Zeiten.

Auf einer Insel, weit weit weg befindet sich die „Missile Tracking Facility“.

Wir haben als Kinder früher Basen und Burgen mit Playmobil gebaut und uns die Perimetersicherheit überlegt. Wir gingen in den Wald auf „Missionen“, kannten jeden Winkel der Tiefgarage des Einkaufszentrums und konnten unterirdisch von einem Gebäude zum anderen wechseln. Der Jubelschrei, nachdem ich nach zwei Stunden filigranem Rumgrübeln endlich das Vorhängeschloss eines Bunkereingangs mit meinem Lockpick-Set im Wald aufgekriegt habe. Wir waren unsere eigene Spezialeinheit. Wir haben das Pfingstlager spontan zu einem Ausbildungscamp umfunktioniert, wobei jeder ein Thema behandelte; über Tarnung, Funkkommunikation und Koordination, Missionsplanung, Einsatzkoffer, Seiltechnik, Schiessübungen mit Gotchas auf Luftballons… Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das am Tag erarbeitete Wissen wurde in der Nacht auf einer Mission in die Tat umgesetzt; mit Funkgeräten, Seilen und Einsatzkoffer zogen wir getarnt los; das Ziel war das Zünden eines Vogelschrecks unter einer Brücke, ohne dass uns jemand bemerkte. Highlight jedes Jahr war der Erste August, schon Wochen vorher haben wir im Powerpoint die Einsatzvorbereitung gemacht, zogen mit Velo und Kamera los, haben Dorf-, Land- und OL-Karten studiert. In welchen Unterführungen und Brücken hallt es am besten? Der Kindergartenspielplatz wurde zum Testgelände für experimentelle Waffensysteme, wie: Vier Luftheuler an einem Spielzeugauteli zischen die Rutschbahn hoch, oder der Testschuss der Thunderking-Kanone bestehend aus Alu-Rohren und Teilen einer Wäscheleine. Diese und andere Schiessvorrichtungen kamen aus unserem geheimen, unterirdischen Forschungslabor, in mundanen Kreisen auch einfach „Kellerwerkstatt“ genannt. Jedes Jahr gab es eine Steigerung – angefangen beim Kinderpäckli mit Knallteufel und Meteoriten, ging’s im nächsten Jahr mit Frauenfürzen, Luftheulern und yyyiiii-bumm Raketli weiter. Ein paar Jahre später haben wir uns im Waffengeschäft mit einem Päckli Vogelschreck eingedeckt, das nächste Jahr bekamen wir Mengenrabatt. Der Forschergeist im unterirdischen geheimen Testlabor hat ganze Kombinationen an Feuerwerken (sog. „Racks“) hervorgebracht. Frauenfürze zünden Luftheuler und zwei Flashingthunder, und was passiert eigentlich, wenn man 14 Vogelschreck in eine WC-Rolle packt? Dasdada. Bis dann einisch das Pfadihüttli brannte. Später haben wir unsere eigenen Kartoffelkanonen gebaut, und ich durfte sogar mal bei einem Grossfeuerwerk mithelfen. Wir hatten unseren Spass und unser Gaudi. Bestimmt war ich in einem früheren Leben auch mal ein Geheimagent.

Von dem her; ich kann ja den Reiz und den Nervenkitzel nachvollziehen, den die SIGINT-Analysten, Testgelände-Waffenoperatoren und Untergrundbasis-Missionseinsatzaufklärer in ihren abgesperrten Geheimgeländen spielen. Blöd nur, dass diese Kinder ihre Räuberspiele so weit gesteigert haben, dass sie als Mittel zum Zweck der Unterdrückung eingesetzt werden, tief in die Gesellschaft eingreifen und Menschen bedrohen, zu etwas zwingen oder vernichten.
