Das ist mal ein schönes Beispiel, wie sehr die Ansichten auseinandergehen. Je nachdem, ob es sich um eine natürliche Heilpflanze handelt, die in der Natur wächst und jeder gratis pflücken kann, oder ob es sich um ein Medikament handelt, bei der eine Pharmalobby damit Geld verdient.
Ich hatte neulich bei einem Freund eine feine Teemischung gekostet, die eine anregende Wirkung, gesteigertes Kommunikationsbedürfnis, Gelassenheit und ein gutes Gefühl verursachte. Neugierig, was denn das für eine nicht mehr erhältliche Teemischung ist, begab ich mich auf die Suche:
- Ephedra: Hände weg vom Todeskraut!
- Schwere Gesundheitsschäden!!1!
- Thermonukleare Körpervernichtung mit schweren Folgeschäden!
- Die Ausserirdischen landen gleich!!
- Man könnte ja meinen!
Der Ktipp warnt: HÄNDE WEG VOM TODESKRAUT!! OH GOTT WIR WERDEN ALLE STÖRBEN!!!1!
Das Bundesinstitut für Risikobeurteilung warnt vor schweren Gesundheitsschäden:

In den USA sind bereits Hunderte Menschen erkrankt, es gab mehr als 10 Todesfälle.
Sie alle warnen im Gleichschritt davor.
Da werde ich nachdenklich. Was soll die ganze Hysterie?

Methylphenidat (= Wirkstoff von Ritalin, Medikinet und Concerta) ist eine synthetische Weiterentwicklung der seit langem bekannten Heilpflanze Ephedra vulgaris oder sinensis – also eigentlich eine „ganz natürliche“ Unterstützung.
OH.
Wenn der Wirkstoff in Ritalin vorkommt, dann beruft man sich auf exakt das gleiche Kraut als eine „natürliche Heilplanze“. AH JA.
Diese Pflanze wurde soeben noch als
verteufelt!
BgVV und BfArM warnen vor dem unkontrollierten Verzehr von Produkten, die Ephedra-Kraut enthalten und weder als Arzneimittel zugelassen sind, noch als Lebensmittel vertrieben werden dürfen. […] Das BgVV und das BfArM warnen dringend vor dem unkontrollierten Verzehr solcher Produkte. Es kann zu unerwünschten Wirkungen kommen wie z. B. Pupillenerweiterung, Nervosität, Zittern, Schweißausbrüchen, Herzrhythmusstörungen, erhöhtem Blutdruck und bei hoher Dosierung zu Krampfanfällen und psychischen Veränderungen.
Es war nicht mal als Arzneimittel zugelassen, so stark haben die damals dagegen geschossen.
Aber das war 2002, jetzt ist die Forschung doch vieeel weiter! Jetzt haben wir Ritalin, und das wird ärztlich verschrieben! DAS IST NATÜRLICH WAS GAAAANZ ANDERES!!1! OH JA SICHER.</ironie>
Die eigentliche, neutrale Erklärung findet man bei der Suchmaschine erst ein paar Seiten weiter:
Ephedra Sinica oder Ma Huang ist vom Ursprung her eine Medizin gegen Erkältung oder Fieber. Es wird als die älteste Medizin der Welt bezeichnet, da es schon seit 2000 Jahren in der tradionellen chinesischen Heilkunde benutzt wird. Heutzutage wird es immer noch als Medizin, gegen unter anderem Asthma, Allergien, Erkältung und Heuschnupfen angewendet. (Quelle)
Ein Heilmittel der tradionellen chinesischen Medizin, das seit 2000 Jahren eingesetzt wird. Von der Hysterie und den angeblich „tödlichen Wirkungen“ keine Spur.
Fazit
Wie kann es denn sein, dass eine natürliche Pflanze zuerst als Todeskraut verteufelt wird, in kostenpflichtigen Medikamenten aber plötzlich eine „medizinische Wirkung“ hat?
Natürlich steckt da eine Lobby dahinter! Denn, „Pflanzen wachsen überall, damit können wir ja gar kein Geld mit verdienen! Verteufeln und verbieten!“ Und dann Hupen alle Artikel in die gleiche Richtung: Böses Kraut, giftig, gefährlich.
Alles inszeniert.
Also mal zu den Grundlagen:
Ein (Heil)Kraut kann positive und negative Wirkungen haben. Möchte man es ins negative Licht rücken, zählt man nur die negativen Wirkungen auf, möglichst noch mit einer Überdosis. Ist ja klar dass das dann schädliche Folgen für die Gesundheit hat.
Will man einen Wirkstoff ins positive Licht rücken, zählt man nur die positiven Wirkungen auf, natürlich nur alles wohldosiert und ohne die Erwähnung von Wirkungen bei einer Überdosis.
So funktioniert diese Gehirnwäsche!
Richtig übel.
Aber wisst ihr was? Ich geniesse weiterhin meinen Meerträubeltee. Ich habe ihn probiert, und er schmeckt und wirkt wunderbar. Ganz natürlich. Von Todeskraut keine Spur. Aber mir werden die wenigsten Leute glauben. Der Ktipp hat schliesslich davor gewarnt, „ganz gefährlich“ und „böse“! Und wenn es im Ktipp steht, dann muss es ja stimmen, nicht wahr? Man glaubt lieber einer fremden Aussage, als es selber auszuprobieren und sich seine eigene Meinung darüber zu bilden. So viel Macht haben Autoritäten über uns.
