Genau DAS meine ich. Warum ist es den Leuten egal, wenn die NSA ihre intimen Details kennen, aber *bekannte* Personen in ihrer nächsten Umgebung dürfen das ned?
Ganz einfach: Weil die NSA nicht unmittelbar etwas damit anfangen kann: Wenn ich der NSA mein Gehalt sage, dann speichert sie das irgendwo ab. Wenn ich es dir sage, dann wirst du es mit deinem Gehalt vergleichen… Und einer von uns beiden wird sich unterbezahlt vorkommen. Mit dieser Info wird er dann zum Vorgesetzten gehen und mehr Gehalt verlangen (im Worst Case mit der Begründung „aber der XY kriegt auch soviel“). Oder aber einer von uns plaudert das Gehalt des anderen weiter… Und dann nimmt das seinen Lauf, bis plötzlich viele darüber Bescheid wissen… durch Gerüchte evtl noch verfälscht, sodass dann Diskussionen und Mauscheleien entstehen können, ob das Gehalt von XY gerechtfertigt ist usw… – obwohl ich anfangs eigtl nur bereit war, genau dir mein Gehalt zu verraten 😉
Die Arbeitgeber schüren sowas natürlich, indem sie von vornherein dagegen sind, dass man sich gegenseitig über die Gehälter austauscht, und schaffen somit ein intransparentes System. Und weil’s intransparent ist und grosse Unterschiede bestehen können, mag keiner so recht drüber reden – weil er entweder vergleichsweise viel zu viel oder viel zu wenig bekommt.
Die NSA kann nicht unmittelbar etwas damit anfangen – richtig. Aber sie kann irgendwann irgendwas damit anfangen. Wir wissen es noch nicht. Aber Fakt ist, sie haben die Daten, und die löschen sie nicht – und irgendwann wird uns das zum Verhängnis.
Wenn du vor 3 Monaten nach „Dampfkochtopf“ und „Rucksack“ gegoogelt hast, hättest du dir auch nix besonderes dabei gedacht. Kürzlich hat das eine Hausfrau gemacht, und danach standen 6 FBI-Agenten in ihrer Wohnung. Begründung: Im Boston-Bombing wurden auch Dampfkochtöpfe verwendet…

Das soll auch so sein. Die Frage ist rhetorisch, für alle, die „nichts zu verbergen haben“ – haben sie eben doch. 😉
Ich will damit nur Bewusstsein schaffen, dass die Leute vorsichtiger mit ihren Daten umgehen. Datenhygiene im Internet, Privatsphäre, usw. Das ist wichtig.
Aktuell ist es so, dass die Regierungen Geheimnisse haben, und die Bürger dürfen keine haben. Regierungen, deren Entscheidungen eine grosse Masse betreffen. Das führt zu einem grossen Machtmissbrauch. Dabei soll es genau umgekehrt sein: Alles, was eine grosse Masse betrifft, soll offen und transparent sein = die Regierung. Und Bürger haben Geheimnisse und eine Privatsphäre.

Ich habe je länger je mehr das Gefühl, die meisten Leute stehen mehr auf Entertainment als auf ihre Privatsphäre. „Oh, die NSA überwacht, der Snowden wird gejagt. Wo ist er grad? Was widerfährt ihm als nächstes?“ Die Leute schauen lieber einer spannenden Hetzjagt zu, statt sich zu fragen, was das überhaupt für Konsequenzen hat, was er veröffentlicht hat.

Und dann ergötzt man sich weiter an den nächsten Schlagzeilen und denkt nicht weiter darüber nach. Verharrt in einer passiven, ignoranten Haltung, als ob man sich nicht dagegen wehren könne. Oder es einem egal ist, weil man ja „nichts zu verbergen hat“.
Nun denn. Dann wird man aber immer nichts zu verbergen haben müssen. Und so hat diese fremde Autorität, vor der Du nichts zu verbergen haben willst bereits eine grosse Kontrolle über Dich. Sie definiert, was besser verborgen sein soll – und das wirst Du dann nicht mehr tun, weil das alles in der Überwachung auffallen würde. Sie definiert das durch Gesetze, allgemeine Meinung, Medien, Religion. Alles, was die Meinungsbildung beeinflusst. Sie kann Dich steuern wie ein Schaf, und du wirst folgen.
Ist das noch ein Leben? Ein fremdbestimmtes Leben? Und, wenn alle dieses Schema-F Leben leben – ist das dann noch lebenswert? Was gibt es für die Schöpfung dann noch selbst zu erfahren, wenn der Ablauf eh schon vorbestimmt ist? Wenn ich so ein Bünzlileben hätte, in dem ich nichts zu verbergen habe, dann würde ich mich gleich vor den Zug werfen.

Meine Damen und Herren, der Nummer Eins Grund, was Sterbende am meisten bereuen, ist:
1. «Ich wünschte, ich hätte den Mut gehabt, mein eigenes Leben zu leben»
Statt auf ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse zu hören, hatten sie das Leben gelebt, das andere von ihnen erwartet hatten.
Der Nummer Zwei Grund ist:
2. «Ich wünschte, ich hätte nicht so viel gearbeitet»
Nummer Drei:
3. «Ich wünschte, ich hätte den Mut gehabt, meine Gefühle auszudrücken»
4. «Ich wünschte, ich wäre mit meinen Freunden in Kontakt geblieben»
5. «Ich wünschte, ich hätte mir erlaubt, glücklicher zu sein»
Das sind alles Dinge, die haben etwas mit Privatsphäre zu tun!
Und jetzt überlegt euch das noch einmal mit dem „nichts zu verbergen“. Ihr liegt noch nicht am Sterbebett. Noch könnt ihr ein lebenswertes Leben voller Geheimnisse, Mut, Abenteuer, Glück und Erfüllung leben. Wenn ihr das nicht tut, werdet ihr es am Sterbebett bereuen. Dann ist es zu spät.
Als ich jemandem Alternativen gezeigt habe, wie man sich schützen und wehren kann, kam die Frage:
So weit sind wir schon. Wir trauen nicht mal mehr, uns zu wehren. Bedingungslose Unterwürfigkeit gegenüber dem Staat und seinen Gesetzen.
Es könnte mir egal sein, wenn sich andere überwachen lassen und nichts verbergen zu haben scheinen. Das Problem ist aber: Wir leben in einer Demokratie. Da gibt es Abstimmungen. Und wenn eine Mehrzeitsentscheidung vom dummen Vieh meine Freiheiten einschränkt, dann ist mir das nicht egal.
Die Herrschaft der Dummen ist unüberwindlich, weil es so viele sind, und ihre Stimmen zählen genau wie unsere.

Immer mehr wird illegal, die Freiheiten werden immer weiter eingeschränkt. Die gesetzeskonformen Gutbürger, die nichts zu verbergen haben, können praktisch nichts mehr tun, weil das meiste, was menschlich ist, kriminalisiert wurde. Sie leben ihr fades Gefängnisleben.
Aber schauen wir das mal aus der anderen Sichtweise an. Ein Leben als „Terrorist“? Was ist schon Terrorismus? Der Staat definiert alle und jeden, die ihm nicht passen, als Terroristen, es sind längst nicht mehr nur fanatische Bombenleger. Alle, die seine Macht, sein Monopol auf Gewalt bedrohen. Jeder, der was zu verbergen hat, gilt als Terrorist. Von dem her: Warum nicht Terrorist sein?
Als Terrorist habe ich das Privileg einer Privatsphäre. Zugriff auf die neusten Technologien und Verschlüsselungssysteme. Unser eigenes Internet, ohne Zensur oder Kontrolle. Unterhaltungen mit intelligenten Menschen in Darknetforen. Echte Information und Bildung aus unzensierten Texten. Eine echte freie Marktwirtschaft. Ich kann mich berauschen. Ich kann tun und lassen, was ich will, in Übereinstimmung mit meinem moralischen Werten. Ich brauche mich nicht vor Verfolgung zu fürchten, denn ich habe etwas zu verbergen und Technologien, die mir dabei helfen. Behörden werden mich nie finden, denn ich weiss, wie ich mich schützen kann. Ich finde immer einen Weg. Die grosse Masse sind die, die unter Generalverdacht gestellt werden. Ich kann mein eigenes Leben leben.
