«Wider die Dekadenz», dachte sich eine Gruppe von Künstlern und errichtete neben dem Favela-Café auf dem Messeplatz eine echte Favela. Die Art will jeden anzeigen, der nach 20 Uhr noch anwesend ist…

Für alle, denen das Favela-Café auf dem Messeplatz zu wenig real war, gibt es gute Neuigkeiten: Neben den schicken Hüttchen mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten für all die erschöpften Sammler- und Galeristenhintern stehen seit Freitagnachmittag nun original-versiffte Bretterverschläge.

Es stinkt nach Rauch, eine Band schrammelt auf Gitarren, am Boden liegen leere Schrothülsen neben strassenkreidemalenden Kindern. Auf einer improvisierten Kochstelle bereitet jemand Linseneintopf, rechts davon brutzeln Würste auf dem Grill. Zwischen all den Kunstverständigen und Prekariatsbegeisterten mit Bierdosen steht ein Esel.
