Nicht sehr bekannter, aber sehenswerter Schweizer Film, der gem. den Autoren auf wahren Gegebenheiten beruht.
Handlung:
Alex (Vincent Bonillo) und Fred (François Nadin) sind zwei junge Globalisierungsgegner, die den Weltwirtschaftsgipfel mit einem wahnwitzigen Coup verhindern wollen: Sie planen, ein selbst entwickeltes Computervirus, das den internationalen Zahlungsverkehr lahmlegen soll, über das Informatiksystem einer Bank zu verschicken und damit führende Politiker und Wirtschaftsbosse zu erpressen. Alex, der als Putzmann in der Bank arbeitet, muss das Virus bloss noch installieren.
Einen Tag später wacht er im Spital auf und erinnert sich an nichts mehr, nicht an den Autounfall, bei dem er angefahren wurde, und auch nicht daran, ob er das Virus überhaupt installiert hat. Und Fred scheint wie vom Erdboden verschluckt. Die Ärzte bieten Alex an, seine Amnesie mit einer neuartigen Therapie zu behandeln. Nach anfänglichem Zögern willigt Alex ein, sein Gehirn mit Magnetströmen stimulieren zu lassen. Während er die Ereignisse nach und nach zu rekonstruieren versucht, verschwimmen Realität und Fantasie immer mehr. Das, woran er sich wieder erinnert, beunruhigt ihn zutiefst. Und bald merkt er, dass sich nicht nur die Ärzte für seine Therapie interessieren…
Es beginnt ein Wettlauf mit der Zeit, der leider ein tragisches Ende nehmen wird…
