Hysterisch sind sie am kreischen. Von überall her tönts: Schweinegrippe!

Haben wir Angst?
Ich müsste wirklich mal Mehl und eine Gasmaske in einen Koffer packen, auf einem Hauptbahnhof stolpern und davonrennen.
Wahrscheinlich ist die Gefahr grösser, auf offener Strasse vom Blitz getroffen zu werden.
Sars. Milzbrand. Vogelgrippe. Wirtschaftskrise. Schweinegrippe.
Jedesmal eine Hysterie. Diese Krankheiten sind Medienkrankheiten, befallen unsere Gedanken und verbreiten sich über die Zeitung, übers Fernsehen und über das Radio. Wer sich schützen will, lese am besten keine Zeitung mehr.
So. Ich geh heute extra viel Schweinefleisch kaufen. Ich zeige all diesen medienmanipulierten Schisshasen, dass ich keine Angst habe!

In der Tat, es handelt sich um eine Hysterie. Es ist auch hinreichend bekannt, dass nur die Wenigsten darunter sterben. Es ist wie bei der saisonalen Grippe: Vor allem Junge, Ältere und Leute mit schwachen Immunsystem sind betroffen. Bei der überwiegenen Mehrzahl verläuft diese Grippe, welche eigentlich MEXIKANISCHE GRIPPE heissen müsste, relativ harmlos entsprechend einer normalen Grippe ab.
Apropos Namen: Schweinegrippe heisst es nur, weil die verschiedenen Virenstämme in Schweinen zusammen kamen und sich dort zur jetzigen Form rauften. Doch muss man klar sagen, dass diese Form dann weg vom Schwein ging und nur Menschen anfällt. Der Terminus Schweinegrippe sagt also nur was zur Herkunft. Schweinefleisch ist also nach wie vor kein Problem für den Verzehr.
Was ich gesagt habe, liest sich auch in Zeitungen, aber es ist schon so, dass sowas eher in den kleinen Randspalten kommt und in den fetten Schlagzeilen halt das Elend der Wenigen. Elend verkauft sich besser.
