Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself.
Think for yourself. Question authority.
Coole Ansage von Tool, gell? Wer weiss denn schon, wer er ist, oder was seine Lebensaufgabe sein könnte? Eben.
Doch ich glaube ich bin der Antwort auf diese Fragen vor kurzem nähergekommen.
Auslöser dafür war dieses Buch:
Ich nenne es das Schlüsselbuch. Denn was darin beschrieben wird, hat so viel mit meinem Leben zu tun, dass ich es unmöglich als „irgend ein Buch“ bezeichnen könnte.
Ja aber worum geht’s denn überhaupt? Was ist denn DAS wieder für ein esoterischer Schmöker? Indigo.. Indigo-Kinder? Das sind doch so hochbegabte Kinder, die Sachen durch die Luft wirbeln können lassen, so wie in „The Matrix“… Das hat sicher nichts mit mir zu tun.
Ja, so dachte ich. Dann las ich mal den Rückseitentext:

Das gefällt mir schon besser! Besonders die Abschnitte mit „frustriert vom bestehenden Gesellschaftssystem“, „zu einer besseren Welt beitragen“, „anderes Denken“, „visionär und kreativ“…
Na denn – gekauft! Es heisst, es gäbe da noch eine Checkliste mit typischen Merkmalen für so ein „Indigo-Erwachsener“… Eigentlich lasse ich mich ja nicht gerne in Schubladen stecken. Und ich glaube auch, ich passe in keine Schublade dieser Welt.
Doch ich dachte, ich spinn, als ich diese Checkliste anfing zu lesen. Kleine Kostprobe? Bitte:
Indigoseelen…
sind kreativ und haben Freude daran, etwas zu erschaffen.
haben einen leichten Zugang zu neuen Technologien (Computer etc.)
haben oft Schwierigkeiten in der Schule, besonders mit Kontrolle und dem Auswendiglernen.
sind oft rebellisch und widersetzen sich Autoritäten, auch wenn sie es nicht immer offen ausdrücken.
haben Schwierigkeiten mit Systemen, die sie als kaputt oder uneffektiv betrachten, beispielsweise dem politischen, Bildungs-, Gesundheists-, Miliär-, Finanz- und Rechtssystem.
werden schnell wütend, wenn sie das Gefühl haben, ihrer Rechte beraubt zu werden. Sie schwanken dann zwischen Furcht und Wut bezüglich dieses „Big Brothers“, der sie beobachtet.
haben den brennenden Wunsch, die Welt zu verändern und zu verbessern, können aber in ihrem Tun blockiert sein. Viele haben Schwierigkeiten, ihren Weg zu finden.
sind frustriert vom bürgerlichen Leben mit seinem Acht-Stunden-Job, der Ehe, den zweieinhalb Kindern und dem Reihenhaus mit Garten – oder lehnen es gleich ab.
könnten bereits existentielle Depressionen, Verzweiflung und Hilflosigkeit erlebt haben und quälen sich vielleicht mit der Frage: „Warum bin ich hier?“
sind mit weltlichen Jobs oder Handlangerdiensten unglücklich, vor allem in hierarchischen, autoritären Strukturen.
zeigen sprunghafte Verhaltensmuster oder Denkvorgänge (Symtome des Aufmerksamkeits-Defizit-Syndroms ADHS) und können sich manchmal schlecht auf gestellte Aufgaben konzentrieren, schweifen in Gesprächen leicht ab.
Wow – ich bin platt. Ich konnte bei keinem einzigen Punkt sagen, dass der nicht übereinstimmt.
Und wenn ich so zurückdenke, an die Schule.. Hab oft gedacht, „das bringt mir nix“ – z.B. beim Rechnungswesen 🙂 . Was ich davon hielt, sah man ja hier.
Oder die ganze Bünzliheit, die mir so mächtig auf den Zeiger geht, mit „E Huus, e Frau, zwei Goofe (au ich has gschafft, Insider 😉 , Bänkler, Fahruswies, Turnverein und Fuessballbegeisteret……….FUCK THAT!
Ja und die „Freude daran, etwas zu erschaffen“ – immer noch! 🙂 – ich bin immer noch in mehreren Webprojekten (nicht geschäftlich; dort zwar auch) verwickelt. Und ich zitiere aus einem älteren Beitrag (das passt auch hervorragend zum Punkt „Schwierigkeiten mit Auswendiglernen“:
Langweiliger Unterricht fördert Kreativität! Während der Lehrer vorne laberte, sass ich Gedankenversunken da, und liess meine Gedanken schweifen. Dabei kamen oft gute Ideen heraus, die ich dann im Geschäft teilweise auch umgesetzt habe. Es braucht sie also doch, die Labertaschen!
Creating and inventing might seem left brain oriented, but they really aren’t at least not to an Indigo. Inventing a shortcut is really just a way of getting through a task faster, which is the Indigo way.
So. Und jetzt macht’s *BOOM* (ein *klick* wäre viel zu leise :P). Der Kreis schliesst sich. Alles ergibt einen Sinn.
