Der baden-württembergische Ministerpräsident Oettinger, sonst nicht unbedingt für die angemessene Wortwahl in jeder Lebenslage berühmt, sprach bei einem Neujahrsempfang vor wenigen Tagen vom „Scheiß-Privatfernsehen“. Das sei mitschuldig an der grassierenden Jugendgewalt.

Was die Jugendgewalt betrifft, sind wir nicht ganz sicher. Beim „Scheiß-Fernsehen“ schon. Es zieht auch ältere, ganz friedliche und sittlich gereifte Bürger immer stärker in Mitleidenschaft. Am wichtigsten aber, auch wenn man den schwäbischen Kraftausdruck nicht wiederholen will: Man findet dieses Phänomen der grenzenlosen Verdummung und ästhetischen Verwahrlosung auch im öffentlich-rechtlichen Fernsehen, das jährlich fette sieben Milliarden Euro Gebühren erhält für seinen angeblichen Informations-, Bildungs- und Unterhaltungsauftrag.
