Meine Güte. Das war eine Nachtaktion…
Gestern Abend wollte ich WordPress auf Version 2.6 aktualisieren. Ich habe zuhause das ganze WordPress-Verzeichnis mit Subversion unter Versionskontrolle. Da sollte ja nix passieren… Hehe, denkste!
Das Upgrade verlief auf dem Testsystem problemlos. Gut, alle Files hochladen:
lftp> mirror -R -c -v -X 'uploads/' -X 'themes/' -X '*.mov' -X '.svn/' ./
lftp ist DER Kommandozeilen FTP-Client.
mirror kopiert ein Verzeichnis komplett vom Server nach lokal
-R macht das gleiche in die andere Richtung
-c fährt mit dem Upload fort
-v ist redseliger
-X schliesst bestimmte Dateien/Verzeichnisse aus.
So. Alles geklappt, die Seite funktioniert noch. Scheinbar… Als ich mich einloggen wollte, passierte einfach nix. Ich wurde immer wieder zur Login-Seite umgeleitet. Hmm. Mal googeln.
Aha. Der hat das Problem, der auch. Und hier, hier, hier das gleiche. Super. Auf der WordPress Downloadseite steht nichts – nicht ein Wörtchen, dass es mit Version 2.6 Probleme mit dem Login geben könnte, wenn das Blog in einem Unterverzeichnis liegt. Cookies löschen, Cookie-Pfad setzen – alles probiert. Es ist 4 Uhr morgens, ich geh‘ jetzt ins Bett.
Am nächsten Morgen:
svn up -r15 (aah, ich liebe SVN – alles wieder auf den alten Stand bringen).
Dieser Stand hat noch funktioniert. Also hoch damit. Transfer complete. Der grosse Moment…

Also ehrlich, WordPress fängt langsam wirklich riesig an zu stinken. Zuerst die Spam-Attacke (die Spammer machen mittlerweile sogar Beiträge, nicht nur Kommentare), dann diese nervige „WordPress 2.6 is available! Please update now.“-Meldung, und wenn man Updaten will fällt das ganze System zusammen. Seltsam auch, dass es auf dem Testserver zuhause funktioniert, Live aber nicht…
Zum Glück bin ich bei Metanet. Nach der Internal Server Error Meldung hat’s mir den Nuggi definitiv herausgejagt, und ich schrieb dem Support.

metanet gfallt mir au guet, aber ich han mich nach langem hin und her drzue entschiede doch selber öbis ufd bei zstelle, damit i die totali freiheit han: bi hetzner.de hani en root server kauft. döt hani es IP subnet mit 6 adresse und mach mit xen es paar virtuelli machine ^^ wenn i denn mol fertig bi (brucht viel zyt, woni nid grad han), denn schrib i mol en post drüber.
