Mein Netzwerk ist grösser geworden. 1.5 TB grösser. Der alte, lahme Server verabschiedet sich und ein neuer tritt seinen Dienst an.

- 2 GB DDR-2 Ram (+80.-)
- 1.5 TB SATA-II Festplatten (+280.-)
- kein M$-OS (-300.-)
Pangaea Server (Ubuntu Linux) bietet alles, was man braucht: SMB, FTP, NFS, SSH, HTTP und IPP. Irgendwann kommt vll. noch NIS dazu.
Alles ist über ein bequemes Webinterface steuerbar. Dateien, Musik, Bilder und natürlich – ein Torrentclient. 😀

geils teil – aber die 1.5TB sin eimol 1TB und eimol 500GB oder? ha nämlich no kei 1.5tb platte gfunde…

mi serverli isch mi alte ipcop (VIA epia 600mhz) mit freebsd. lauft tipptopp, lutlos und stromsparend (50W). und da er 24h lauft, het er gnueg zyt, wenner mol öppis rechne muess.
