Der schönste Film kommt nur halb zur Geltung, wenn man ihn auf einem 12“ Bildschirm anschaut. Und warum sich einen teuren Plasma-Bildschirm kaufen, wenn man mit einem Beamer doch viel das grössere und hellere Bild erzeugen kann?
Während der Einschaltphase dachte ich mir nur: OK, auch wenn das Bild nur etwas dünkler ist als das von meinem Bildschirm bin ich schon zufrieden. Und es wurde hell. Und heller. Und noch heller – sicher doppelt so hell wie die Lichtstärke des Monitors. WOW, dachte ich. Nicht schlecht! Und einen Kontrast hat das Teil, abartig. Auch die Farben wirken natürlich und warm.
Jetzt muss ich bloss noch das Licht ausschalten, und dann ein paar HD-Trailer anschauen. Doch: Da war kein Licht eingeschaltet! Einzig und allein die Wand erhellte den Raum taghell. Ich hätte bloss das PDF schliessen müssen, um den Raum ein wenig abzudunkeln…
Jetzt fehlt nur noch ein entsprechendes Soundsystem und eine Popcorn-Maschine, dann steht einem Kino-Wochenende nichts mehr im Wege. Die nächste Scratchbook-Convention kann bei mir stattfinden.
Aber auch Keynote schaut schon ganz anders aus auf so einer Bildfläche. Oder GoogleEarth? Da kommt schon eine Art Kommandozentralen-Feeling auf…

Ich habe gehört, die Beamerbirnen seien recht schnell durchgebrannt und auch nicht ganz billig. Hast du damit schon Erfahrungen? Eine Beamer-Anschaffung lohnt sich natürlich nicht, wenn man jeden Monat für 100 Franken eine neue Birne nachkaufen muss.. 😉
