Doch so mancher Gangster geht mit der Zeit. Speicherchips sind das Gold der Gegenwart. Immer mehr Hersteller von USB-Sticks leiden unter Lieferanten, die Kaugummi auf die Platinen kleben. Der speichert ja auch einiges, was mit ihm in Berührung kommt.

Politiker hingegen speichern nur gerade das, was ihnen bis zur nächsten Wahl Stimmen einbringt. Etwa ihre Erregung über die Schliessung eines Nokia-Werkes in Bochum. Laut heise online soll so manche Politprominenz darüber nachdenken, ihr Nokia-Handy gegen eine andere Marke einzutauschen. Angeblich aus Solidarität mit den Arbeitern. Schön.

Ich frage mich nur, welche Marke darf es sein? iPhone aus China? Dort wo Fabrikarbeiterinnen in Luxus-Unterkünften wohnen und das soziale Gewissen der Bosse so rein wie Intels Chip-Produktion ist?

Dass man heutzutage USB-Speichersticks vor Gebrauch testen muss und damit unbezahlt für die Hersteller arbeiten muss, ist ärgerlich.

Stinkig macht mich aber etwas anderes. Die Menschen denken zu kurz. Als gäbs einen permanenten Datenverlust im kollektiven Gedächtnis. Es sei hiermit in Erinnerung gerufen:

Wer für Waren nichts bezahlen will, lässt stets andere dafür bluten.
