Ist wie wenn man sich eine Pistole kauft, um sich zu „schützen“ – dabei ist das Risiko, sich durch ungewollte Auslösung zu verletzen, doch viel grösser.

Die Spamflut wächst und wächst. Es werden täglich mehr E-Mails. Mittlerweile auch mit Anhängen. Gar nicht zu denken, was diese sinnlose Datenflut bei den Providern für Ressourcen frisst!

Und wer ist schuld daran?

Sind es die dummen Benutzer?
Sind es die klugen Benutzer?
Sind es die Verkäufer, welche unsichere Software verkaufen?
Ist es der Hersteller?

Die dummen Benutzer sind sich der Risiken nicht bewusst. Sie wollen einfach, dass Computer da sind und funktionieren. Wie eine Waschmaschine. Sie sind schuld.
Die klugen Benutzer wissen aber, wie das System funktioniert, und wissen, wie man damit böse Sachen anstellen kann. Sie sind schuld.
Die Verkäufer werden dafür bezahlt, dass sie die Software verkaufen. Sie sind schuld.
Der Hersteller ist auf das schnelle Geld aus – es muss ja nicht fertig sein, solange es gerade noch funktioniert. Sie sind schuld.

Es geht wieder einmal ums Geld. Das Geld ist schuld.
Wem gehört das Geld? Niemandem. Niemand ist schuld.
Allen? Alle sind schuld.

Was war eigentlich zuerst da – das Huhn oder das Ei?

Sinnlos, den Schuldigen zu suchen. Da ist immer noch der Mensch im Spiel. Und wo Menschen sind, gibt es Fehler und Unstimmigkeiten.
Kümmern wir uns also um den Menschen; dass er die Maschinen optimal bedienen kann und er einen Nutzen daraus zieht.

So war das doch einmal gedacht, oder?

Die Maschinen erleichtern uns das Leben.

Und was machen die damit?
Sie versuchen, die Welt möglichst realistisch darzustellen!
Ist das nicht der Irrsinn? Wir lösen nicht Probleme, nein, wir versuchen, sie möglichst detailgetreu nachzustellen!
Denken wir doch mal an all die Autorennspiele. Da wird Dreck auf der Windschutzscheibe simuliert. Ich will doch was sehen!
Oder Second Life. Eine komplette zweite Welt – virtuell. Mit all dem Schlamassel, den wir auch sonst hätten. Sogar mit Geld.

Also ich bin nach wie vor dafür, dass die Maschinen uns gefälligst zu Diensten sein sollen.

Doch Erleichterung ist verpöhnt. Ich werde ausgelacht, wenn ich ein Spiel mit Cheats spiele. Das sei „lame“, wenn ich meine Raketen in Red Faction auf automatische Zielsuche stelle. Hallo?? Ich spiele zur Entspannung, zum Spass – ich will mich nach einem Arbeitstag doch nicht nochmals anstrengen! Die Maschine kann zielen, ich nicht, also bitteschön.

Nein, die Maschinen lösen unsere Probleme wirklich nicht. Wir wollen das nicht – wir sind so Problemgeil, und überhaupt nicht daran interessiert, dieses Geschenk abzugeben.

Probleme sind unsere Freunde.
