finde ich eine sehr gute Entwicklung, dass die Ubuntu-Computer nun auch in Europa erhältlich sind, und somit Linux nun auch einem breiteren Publikum schmackhaft gemacht wird. Hoffentlich ist es nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, bis diese Option auch in der Schweiz verfügbar wird.

Hoppla. Jetzt ist es soweit. Ich bin umgezogen.
Und hier bin ich gelandet: Kolumbanstrasse 32, 9008 St. Gallen.

Ein komisches Gefühl – jetzt bin ich für alles selbst verantwortlich…

Jetzt sitze ich also hier – und ich fühle mich wie ein Fisch im kalten Wasser. Wildfremde Menschen an einem wildfremden Ort! Jetzt beginnt ein völlig anderer Alltag. Ob ich damit klarkomme? Muss wohl…

Aber was so eine neue Wohnung alles für Arbeit gibt! Das fängt beim Einkaufen an: Frohen Mutes marschiere ich in den Laden. Brot, Teigwaren, Hackfleisch, und was Süsses – lässt sich damit leben? Theoretisch ja, praktisch……. nicht ganz. beim Kochen merkte ich nämlich plötzlich, dass die Teigwaren noch etwas Salz bräuchten, und sich das Fleisch ohne Fett nicht optimal anbraten lässt… Und so schmeckte das erste Essen halt ein wenig Fad und ich ging halt noch ein zweites mal in den Laden, um die Grundnahrungsmittel zu besorgen: Milch, Zucker, Salz, Butter… All die „unwichtigen“ Dinge, die es sowieso Zuhause hätte 😉

Und das Einräumen geht wohl auch nicht in zwei Tagen über die Bühne. Das wird sich sicher über eine Woche hin ziehen.

Uiuiui. Es kommt ordentlich Overhead in meinen Alltag…

Aber: Die Wohnlage ist schön ruhig, der Bahnhof auch nicht weit, und meine 4-Zimmer Villa im 3. Stock hat einen Lift, zwei Balkone mit Abendsonne und sogar eine Geschirrspülmaschine – die rinnt zwar manchmal etwas, aber wer will schon gerne von Hand Geschirrspülen? 😛
