Copy Paste ist schon eine feine Sache.

Was aber, wenn man mehrere unterschiedliche Texte oft kopieren muss?

Ich musste heute z.B. mich auf einer Webapplikation einloggen und dort Vorlagen mit vordefinierten Variablen füllen.

Also, ich kopiere das Login-Passwort, wechsle zum Browser und logge mich ein,
dann wieder zurück zur Hilfeseite mit den Variablen, ctrl-c…
im nächsten Tab an der richtigen Stelle im Text ctrl-v…
wieder zurück auf die Variablenseite, ctrl-c…
usw.

Wäre es nicht praktisch, wenn ich alle Variablen miteinander in ein „Ding“ packen könnte, und dann in der Vorlage alle Variablen am Stück aus diesem „Ding“ rauskopieren kann?

Und wie das praktisch ist!

Es nennt sich Clipper und macht genau das: Wenn man CTRL-C drückt, poppt ein Menü mit 8 Slots auf. Jetzt wählt man einen Slot aus, und schwupp – landet der markierte Text dort drinn. Mit CTRL-V kann man dann den Text aus den einzelnen Slots wieder einfügen.

Ganz billig, und trotzdem nützlich. Wird mir vermutlich auch in Zukunft gute Dienste leisten…
