Gibt es das wirklich? Mal so eine richtig fette Gewitterwolke über Aesch?

Tatsächlich! Heute wälzte sich ein riesiges Monster von einer Wolke über die Landschaft, fast schon unheimlich. Was für eine coole Wolkenshow, die uns heute geboten wurde!

Tja, so klein wirken wir, wenn die Natur ihre Muskeln zeigt!
Cumulunimbus nennt sich das Teil. Eine gefährliche Wolke mit hohen inneren Windgeschwindigkeiten. Und genau so eine Wolke hat vor einer Weile eine Gleitschirmpilotin auf 10’000m Höhe gesogen. Ein Lift, bei dem es 50m/s aufwärts geht, blitzt, donnert und hagelt! Es geht so hoch, dass die Wolke an der Tropopause (der Grenze unserer Wetteratmosphäre) anstösst und sich nach aussen ausbreitet; der typische Amboss bildet sich. Und dieser hier ist mächtig gross! Und wenn es dann noch dunkel wird, bedrohlich anfängt zu donnern und ein kalter, böhiger Wind anfängt zu blasen, dann………läuft was! Jedenfalls ich finde solche Naturschauspiele unheimlich spannend.

Obwohl die Wolken für den Betrachter eigentlich still am Himmel stehen: es bewegt sich dort oben schneller als man denkt! Ich konnte mich manchmal kaum entscheiden zwischen Föteli machen oder die Kamera am PC lassen, um Zeitraffer-Aufnahmen zu erstellen.

Doch sie ist einfach über uns hinweggefegt. Erst mit der Aufhellung am Horizont begann es zu regnen. Doch das sah aus als würde im nächsten Moment die Welt untergehen:
