Na, wie schnell ist die Seite nun geladen? Bis anhin ging das für die Hauptseite gute fünf bis acht Sekunden. Und jetzt? bei mir ging’s 1.5 Sekunden. Wow!

Und das Geheimnis? Nach diversem Pröbeln mit allen möglichen Konfigurationsdateien bin ich auf ein Plugin gestossen: WP-Cache. Das lässt die Seiten einmal berechnen, und danach wird bis zur nächsten Änderung die zwischengespeicherte Version angezeigt.

Nebst blitzschnellem Laden der Seiten reduziert sich nebenbei noch die Serverlast.
