Von Schweizer Behörden wird derzeit der mögliche Einsatz von Trojanern geprüft, mit denen sich Internettelefonie-Gespräche abhören lassen.

Da bei Internettelefonaten die Daten meist verschlüsselt gesendet werden, war es für die Polizei bislang kaum möglich diese Gespräche abzuhören. Der direkte Zugriff auf einen Computer soll diese Probleme nun umgehen, wie die Sonntagszeitung berichtet [1]. So könnte in Zukunft ein Trojaner in das System eingeschleust werden, der dort versteckte Programme installiert. Dieses Programm sendet dann Gesprächsmitschnitte in kleinen Datenpaketen an einen Server. Sollte der Computer vorzeitig ausgeschaltet werden, speichert die Software den Rest ab und sendet ihn, sobald der Computer wieder eingeschaltet wird. Zudem könnten mit diesen Programmen auch integrierte Mikrofone der Notebooks eingeschaltet werden, um Gespräche innerhalb der Wohnung zu belauschen. Eine solche Überwachung soll nur mit richterlicher Genehmigung erfolgen.

Irgendwie Paradox: Einerseits unternimmt Microsoft alles mögliche, um das System vor Trojanern abzusichern. Aber andersseits müssen staatliche Trojaner funktionieren… Na denn viel Spass!
