Jabber mit Spark – und Jabber mit iChat.
Es haben sich schon einige bei unserem Jabber-Server registriert. Ich habe natürlich eine Gruppe „Scratchbook“ erstellt, und registrierte Mitglieder dort hinzugefügt. So hat man automatisch alle Scratchbook’ler auf der Kontaktliste… Das fetzt!
Neue Benutzer werden dank eines PlugIns gleich der Gruppe „Scratchbook“ hinzugefügt. So müsst ihr euch nicht mal mehr um eure Kontaktliste kümmern – sie ist bereits vorhanden!
Wir hatten heute schon eine kleine Plaudersession. Selbst Konferenzen und Filetransfer funktionieren. Letzterer sogar besonders schnell – die Daten rattern mit der maximalen Geschwindigkeit über die Leitung!
Ausserdem habe ich mal einen Account auf Jabber.org erstellt und mich mit iChat eingeloggt. Ich schickte eine Nachricht an longneck@kabelsalat.li – und kurz darauf blinkte es! Und im Webinterface ist eine Verbindung zu Jabber.org ersichtlich.
Jabber ist wirklich genial – kommt, die die noch nicht drin sind!
