In vielen Schweizer Foren beschweren sich Kunden von SolNet, dass ihnen die Bandbreite massiv beschnitten werde. Der Solothurner Provider wolle keine Benutzer mehr, die zuviel Internetverkehr verursachen.

Angeblich beschneidet er seit Anfang April systematisch die Bandbreite von so genannten Powerusern. Wer zuviel Internetverkehr verursacht, wird mit niedriger Geschwindigkeit bestraft. Diese soll teilweise sogar unter der eines Analogmodems liegen.

Auch wenn die Begründung von SolNet durchaus nachvollziehbar ist, die Art und Weise wie der Solothurner Provider sein Problem löste, ist es nicht. Sie hat zu Recht viele Anwender verärgert. Wurden sie doch nie offiziell über den Grund für die Bandbreitenbeschneidung informiert. Dass es auch andere Wege gibt, zeigt etwa die Cablecom. Sie hat eine entsprechende Klausel in ihre AGBs aufgenommen. Genauso könnte SolNet eine Gigabyte-Limite einführen. Damit würden Poweruser automatisch einen anderen Provider wählen, ohne sich brüskiert zu fühlen.

…Also wenn ihr mich fragt: Die spinnen, die Solnets! Ein Kollege von mir war auch bei Solnet, hat dem Support angerufen und gefragt was denn los sei. Die Geschwindigkeit seines Internet-Anschlusses sei sehr niedrig. Antwort des Solnet-Supports: „Wenn es ihnen nicht passt, das Kündigungsformular finden Sie auf unserer Homepage.“

PAH!!! So Saftsäcke echt! Warum gibt es Solnet überhaupt noch? Ich meine, wollen die Kunden oder wollen die keine Kunden??
