YYYippie, der Winter ist doch noch gekommen – aber wie!
Gestern um halb neun piepste mein Pager: „SOFORT INS MAGAZIN EINRÜCKEN!“ – sogleich machte ich mich auf den Weg. Was stand an: Auf dem Dach eines Treibhauses einer Gärtnerei hatte sich eine beträchtliche Menge Schnee angesammelt – und nun hat der Gärtner Angst, es würde einstürzen. Also machten wir uns ran ans freiräumen.
Wieder im Magazin, gab’s Pizza zur Stärkung. Gerade als wir fertig gegessen hatten, piepste der Page erneut; Irgendwo waren ein paar Bäume auf die Strasse gefallen, und ein Baum hatte eine beträchtliche Schräglage; die Personen aus den betroffenen Häusern mussten evakuiert werden.
Auf den Funkgeräten gingen pausenlos Meldungen durch wie: „Eine vo dr BVB chunt cho dr Strom abstelle.“
Ausserdem war Rodersdorf offenbar komplett ohne Strom.
Nach diesem Einsatz begab ich mich mit Dave noch auf einen Winterspaziergang, um dieses einmalige Ereignis zu bewundern (es war halb 2 Uhr morgens ;-)). Wir kamen aber kaum vorwärts. Die Strasse war überall mit 40cm Schnee überzogen! An den Bäumen klebte eine dicke Schneeschicht. Es war wie Leim in Pulverform. Auch als wir uns kurz für 5min hinsetzten, wurden wir mit einer kleinen Schicht Schnee überzogen. Heftig!
Halt leider ein bisschen verspätet, aber SO gefällt mir der Winter! Leider gab’s nur 40cm – da fehlen noch 60cm!!
HA! Endlich mal dick Schnee! Die Natur schlägt endlich mal zurück!
