Normalerweise würden jetzt umfangreiche Statistiken, Danksagungen, Rückblicke etc. folgen, aber momentan hab ich einfach keine grosse Lust dazu, also gibts hier Stats in Kurzform:

Im Januar hat der Server Rekordtraffic verzeichnet, dies lag u.a. an Rakudave’s Scratchbook-Client, der all pfitz Daten vom Server anforderte.

Aber es funktioniert! Man glaubt es kaum, dass dieses klitzekleine Kilobytelein einen Traffic von mehr als einem Gigabyte verursacht hat!

Oder die inoffizielle Betaversion von Google Earth für Mac OS X; diese 12.6MB wurden 300 mal heruntergeladen und erzeugten fast 4GB Traffic! (thx to GPH!)

Gut so, ein Server ist schliesslich zum Nutzen da, sonst wird es ihm ja noch langweilig! 😛

Die letzte Entwicklung aus den Longneck-Labs: Mailsurf. Gefällt mir irgendwie, fast wie ein IRC-Bot über E-Mail! Mal schauen, vielleicht gibts ja mal Bloggen per E-Mail?

69 registrierte Autoren, die etwa die Hälfte aller Beiträge gepostet haben (ich hatte vor kurzem meine 500er Grenze überschritten ;-)), 7’687 Kommentare und insgesamt 531’491 Klicks – überwältigend! Nun sieht man endlich auch, was vor einem Jahr passiert ist.

Also ich bin ausserordentlich zufrieden, wie sich das entwickelt hat. Tausend Dank an alle Autoren, Leser und die motivierten Mitentwickler – namentlich Freidenker und Rakudave.

So, nun ist aber genug – dieser Beitrag ist wieder mal länger geworden als geplant!
