The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence at Home – Die Suche nach außerirdischer Intelligenz Zuhause. Ein Forschungsprojekt, in dem es darum geht, den ganzen Himmel nach Strahlen abzuscannen, die evtl. auf ausserirdische Kommunikation hindeuten können. Nur sind diese Berechnungen nicht ganz so leicht zu bewältigen, somit hat man das Projekt SETI@home ins Leben gerufen.

Es ist immer wieder spannend, Ende Monat einen Blick auf die Webserverstatistiken zu werfen. Der November hat diesmal alles übertroffen! Ganze 259’214 mal wurde der Webserver im Monat November angefragt, pro Stunde durchschnittlich 360 mal. Dabei wurden 193’884 Dateien und 22’248 Seiten geladen, was einen Traffic fast 10,5GB verursacht hat. 6’359 verschiedene IPs wurden dabei registriert.
