Klares Ja zu Freizügigkeit

Das Schweizer Stimmvolk hat die Erweiterung der Personenfreizügigkeit auf die zehn neuen EU-Staaten mit rund 56 % Ja-Stimmen-Anteil gutgeheissen.
Die klarste Zustimmung zur Vorlage gab es in der Westschweiz sowie in den beiden Basel, das wuchtigste Nein kam aus dem Tessin. Daneben wurde die Vorlage in Glarus, Appenzell-Innerrhoden sowie in der Innerschweiz mit Ausnahme Zugs und Luzerns von den Stimmenden abgelehnt.
Gleichzeitig mit der im Abkommen mit der EU vereinbarten stufenweisen Öffnung des Arbeitsmarktes treten flankierende Massnahmen im Inland in Kraft.
