Mal ehrlich: Was kommt euch beim Namen „Rita“ in den Sinn? Gewiss doch der Name einer lieben Grossmutter oder einer netten Tante?

Anders sehen das die Wissenschaftler: Verwüstete Landstrecken und Stürme mit über 300 km/h!

Ich frage mich, wieso man einen gewaltigen, todbringenden Hurrican mit Namen wie „Rita“ oder „Katrina“ schmückt. Etwa, um ihn zu verharmlosen? Also wirklich, die spinnen, die Amis!

Diese Ritas pflücken keine Blumen, jäten keinen Garten und giessen keine Pflanzen.
Diese Ritas pflücken Bäume, reissen den Rasen auf und überschwemmen Landstriche.

Ich würde meinen Hurrican „Eraser“, „Hellraiser“, „Daisy-Cutter“, „Blade of the dark Lord“, „Breath of Devil“ oder „Big H“ nennen. Das muss gefährlich klingen Leute! Wir haben es hier mit einem Hurrican zu tun!!
