Schluss mit Ferien, es geht wieder los. Das dritte Lehrjahr hat begonnen. Verändert hat sich praktisch nichts; Mathematik und Physik entfällt (JAAA!), BWL (Betriebswirtschaftliche Grundlagen kamen hinzu (NEEEIN!). Ausserdem dürfen wir uns bald mit Datenbanken auseinandersetzen.

Der Dienstag bleibt so trocken wie immer: Turnen, Englisch, BWL und Allgemeinbildung dominieren. Einziger Höhepunkt: Zwei Lektionen Hardware & Betriebssysteme. Heute: CPUs. Nebenbei wurde wieder einmal die Tatsache belegt, dass PowerPCs zu den edelsten Prozessoren gehören (was ja eigentlich klar sein sollte; obwohl Crakk verzweifelt versuchte, das Gegenteil zu beweisen ;-))

Habt Ihr gewusst, dass PowerPCs zuerst in Mainframes und High-End Clustern eingesetzt werden, bevor sie auf den Consumer-Markt kommen? Das bedeutet, dass diese Dinger wohl ordentlich was auf dem Kasten haben müssen…
Cool – meine Workstation ist also ein Supercomputer auf 16x16cm²!
