Heute hat’s mich einfach gejuckt: Ich habe mein Mac mini mal geöffnet. War eigentlich gar nicht besonders schwierig, man muss nur mal den „Dreh“ raushaben. Bei dieser Gelegenheit habe ich auch gleich den 1GB RAM Riegel vom Server ausgebaut und im Mini verpflanzt. Eingeschaltet – und siehe da: das Teil hat doch tatsächlich gebooted!
Jetzt habe ich einen „Maxi“-Mini; mein Mac hat nun alle Optionen, die man haben kann: 1GB Ram, DVD-Burner, Bluetooth & Wireless, und 80GB HD.
Fr. 360.- gespart – das war der Aufwand sicherlich Wert. Das Zusammensetzen des Gehäuses ist übrigens schwieriger als das öffnen…

aber verfällt nicht die Garantie beim öffnen?
