Hierbei wird deutlich gezeigt, dass Downloaden nicht mit Mord gleichzustellen ist.

Der CCC hält die Klagen des Bundesverband Phono / der IFPI für stark fragwürdig. Es kann nicht sein, dass die Musikindustrie ihre Ziele dadurch erreicht, in dem sie eine massive Panik vor immensen Schadensersatzforderungen schürt. Solche sind in Deutschland auch gar nicht durchsetzbar. Es geht vielmehr darum, die Nutzer von Tauschbörsen einzuschüchtern. Dies zeigt sich auch bei der Kampagne der Gesellschaft zur Verfolgung von Urheberrechtsverletzungen (GVU) „Raubkopierer sind Verbrecher“. Auch hier werden bewusst juristische Falschaussagen über die Strafbarkeit von Urheberrechtsverletzungen gestreut, um den Tauschbörsen das Wasser abzugraben.

Nun wurde eine virtuelle Unterschriftensammlung ins Leben gerufen; dabei will man mit einem Gesetzentwurf erreichen, dass das Downloaden von Musik legal werden soll. Dabei wird eine sog. „Kulturflatrate“ eingeführt:

Statt P2P-Netzwerke zu verbieten und ihre Nutzer massenweise zu kriminalisieren wollen wir die Kulturflatrate: für fünf Euro im Monat legal im Internet tauschen, so viel man will. Mit der Kulturflatrate sind alle zufrieden: Urheber werden für das Tauschen ihrer Werke entlohnt, Mensch darf frei tauschen und die Gesellschaft kann die Vorteile von P2P-Netzwerken und Internet nutzen, ohne durch DRM gehemmt zu werden.

Es stimmt schon: Radiosender verbreiten auch Musik, somit wären die die Ersten, die ins Gefängnis gehörten… Aber gegen eine kleine Gebühr ist Radiohören legal. Genau so funktioniert die Kulturflatrate. Gebt eure Unterschrift ab: [Link]
