Dicke Luft im Hause Microsoft: Der grosse Teil der Belegschaft bevorzugt anscheinend Apples iPod-Musik-Player gegenüber den Alternativen des Softwareriesen.
Wie der News-Dienst Wired schreibt, siehts auf Microsofts Firmengelände in Redmond allmählich wie in den Strassen von New York und London aus: Überall sind Leute mit weissen Kopfhörern zu sehen. Zum Ärger von Microsoft sei Apples iPod bei den Mitarbeitern des Konzerns äusserst populär. Laut einem Manager nutzt rund 80 Prozent der Belegschaft mit einem portablen Musik-Player einen iPod. Dies soll Microsofts Management so sehr wurmen, dass die Sache bereits in internen Memos thematisiert wird. Die Angestellten tauschen deswegen aber den iPod nicht etwa gegen ein Microsoft-taugliches Gerät um. Vielmehr hätten die Angestellten damit begonnen, die verräterischen weissen Kopfhörer gegen unauffälligere Exemplare umzutauschen.
