So, wenn er nun schon so klein ist, warum ihn denn nicht auf den Tisch stellen? Ein bisschen bedenken habe ich trotzdem: Die magnetischen Felder vom Bildschirm beim entmagnetisieren und die Lautsprecher machen mir sorgen. Hoffentlich ist die Festplatte gut abgeschirmt!

Für’s erste ist alles mal eingerichtet. Die Bildwiederholrate stimmt, Internet und E-Mail läuft, Firefox, Cinema 4D (noch Demo!) und NoLimits laufen auch schon und dank dieser coolen Linksammlung: [Link]
kann ich nun zwischen 4 virtuellen Desktops switchen. Nur einen vernünftigen eMule-Client habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht gefunden.
Es ist ein Gefühl wie unter Linux zu arbeiten, mit dem Unterschied, dass auf Anhieb alles läuft. Bis auf die NFS Freigaben meines Linux-Servers, dort machen mir noch Berechtigungen zu schaffen. Doch bald wird auch das hoffentlich behoben sein.
Was das geilste ist: Nebenbei habe ich das ganze System „neuinstalliert“. Sämtliche Einstellungen, Programme usw. sind nach der Installation noch genau so wie vorher! Nur dass ich jetzt zusätzlich noch eine echte X11 Umgebung zur Verfügung habe. Los gehts mit Unix – los gehts mit Mac mini!
