Ein Widerspruch im gleichen Artikel. Threema selber:

Wenig später stellt sich heraus, dass sich die Angreifer via unverschlüsselten SMS-Nachrichten koordiniert haben (After Endless Demonization Of Encryption, Police Find Paris Attackers Coordinated Via Unencrypted SMS).
Ende der Diskussion. Eure Geheimdienste, Staatsanwälte, Militärs und Handlanger haben versagt. Kom-Plett. Jetzt können wir sie abschaffen, sie nützen nichts.

Verschlüsselung ist Infrastruktur, die ist neutral. Jeder kann sie benutzen. Sie hilft uns, unser Recht auf Privatsphäre durchzusetzen, das Machtungleichgewicht zwischen Bürger und Staat auszugleichen.

ISIS bombt in Frankreich Menschen tot (ich will da jetzt nicht Menschenleben gegeneinander aufrechnen, aber von der Größenordnung her waren es vergleichbar viele), und überall kommen Frankreich-Fahnen hervor, auf Facebook, Twitter, bei Skype ist jetzt der Like-Button eine Frankreich-Fahne mailt mir gerade jemand, …
Und was ist mit den ganzen Drohnenmordopfern in Afghanistan? Mit den Toten im Irak? Mit denen in Syrien? Schulterzucken, wo man hinschaut.
Ich empfinde das gerade wie die Szene in 1984, als in der Mitte der Rede der Kriegsgegner von Eurasia nach Eastasia wechselt und keiner merkt es. Ihr springt alle auf das US-Terror-Narrativ auf und werdet Rädchen im Propagandaapparat und die Drohnenmorde gehen währenddessen munter weiter.
Und dann gibt es da noch die andere Betrachtungsweise. Die Islamisten machen ja solche Anschläge erstens als Reaktion auf Morde und Kriegsverbrechen des Westens in ihren Heimatländern, aber zweitens um den Westen zu weiteren Greueltaten dort zu provozieren, denn das validiert ihr Weltbild und treibt ihnen mehr Rekruten zu.
Ich bin ja Atheist, aber an der Stelle hat die Bibel Recht. Terroranschläge kann man nicht verhindern, und Polizeistaat-Reaktionen auf sie machen die Sache nur schlimmer. Da muss man meiner Ansicht nach die andere Wange hinhalten. Und man muss aufhören, denen Vorwände für ihre Anschläge zu geben.
Spannende Einsendung eines Lehrers: (ebenfalls via Fefe)
Ich arbeite als Lehrer. Bei uns war auch die Schweigeminute von oben angeordnet worden. Ein Schüler stellte vor einiger Zeit schon mal die Frage, warum bei getöteten Amerikanern und Europäern immer Schweigeminuten abgehalten werden (Türkei mal ausgenommen -- denn dort wird auch nie geschwiegen), aber ansonsten läuft da gar nichts. Ein Schüler erzählte mir, dass er vom Lehrer sogar angewiesen wurde, er müsse zur Schweigeminute aufstehen. Er meinte zu mir, dass im Nahen Osten ständig Menschen sterben und es scheinbar niemanden interessiert.
Für mich interessant: Die Jugendlichen nehmen diese Merkwürdigkeiten sehr wohl war, leider die älteren eher nicht.
Ich denke auch, dass man so nur Hass und Radikalität fördert, weil man damit ganz klar zeigt, wir sind die besseren Menschen, wenn wir sterben, dann ist es schlimm, wenn ihr sterbt, na ja, wen interessiert das schon.
Zum Schluss noch dies:
Staaten sind die wahren Terroristen. Strategie der Spannung.
Das eigentliche Ziel hinter diesen Anschlägen -- ganz egal, wer sie ausgeführt hat -- ist ein Angriff auf Verschlüsselungstechnologien, Ablenken von anderen Ereignissen und ein Narrativ schaffen, das neue Nachrichtendienstgesetz für notwendig zu halten.
