Die Zombie Apokalypse hat bereits begonnen. Alle wollen nur noch gut funktionierende Corporate Drones werden, ohne eigenständiges Denken. Wo führt das bloss hin? Das ist jetzt mindestens der 10. Beitrag, der über das Bildungssystem und die Verdummung von Menschen handelt.

Ein Rückblick

Schon in der Lehre habe ich mich über den Sinn des Unterrichts dort gefragt: Informatikausbildung an der GIBM. Ich hatte eigentlich eine Ausbildung erwartet, die heute unter dem Titel Master of Advanced Studies in Information Technology angeboten wird. Dort kommt man aber nicht hin, ohne vorher ein paar Papierli zu scheissen. Man muss erst etwas lernen, was überhaupt nicht interessiert und wenig nützt. An der Abschlussprüfung hat sich dann mein Gefühl bestätigt: Damit kommen wir nicht weit. Und das wird hier noch unterstrichen: Bildungsunfug reloaded: Informatikunterricht auf dem Holzweg. Unser Bildungssystem ist standardisiert und voller Hindernisse. Man muss sein Hirni erst mit unnötig viel Müll belasten, ehe man das lernen darf, was man will. Über Bildungssysteme und eidg. dipl. Zwangsjacken. Dies ist die aktuelle Situation aus meiner Perspektive.

Dann gibt es die Schule. Büffeln statt spielen. Und das möglichst viel und in noch kürzerer Zeit: Schulzeitverkürzung. Damit möglichst wenig Zeit bleibt, um einmal in Ruhe über sich selbst und die Menschheit nachzudenken; was will ich eigentlich? Was ist die Bestimmung der Menschheit? Äml ganz sicher nicht solche Büffelscheisse.

Das Lernen funktioniert anders. Spielerisch. Wie viel besser wären wir heute, wie viel weiter wären wir, wenn wir das Lernen könnten, was uns gefällt? Leider stehen da Staatliche Demotivations- und Verdummungsanstalten (TED-Video!) im Weg. Es fehlt uns an einer Erziehung zu selbständigem und kritischem Denken. Schule ist Energieverschwendung. Man hat es zu ertragen, egal ob es einem gefällt oder nicht. Es gibt nur ein richtig oder falsch, und worauf alle abgeifern sind gute Noten.

Das funktioniert so nicht. Welche Schule fördert denn Individualität? Wo darf man etwas machen, aus Freude, ohne ein messbares Resultat zu produzieren?

Zum Glück gibt es die Piratenpartei. Antragskommission: Schutz vor Isolation und Indoktrination, Recht auf freien und selbstbestimmten Zugang zu Wissen und Bildung

Wir sind nicht mehr die Generation X, auch nicht die Generation Y. Jetzt kommt die Generation Z – Zombie. Ja genau – Zombies. Untote, bewusstlos wandelnde mir-ist-alles-egal- und man-kann-eh-nichts-dagegen-tun-„Menschen“.

Ich kann es nicht glauben, dass es Menschen gibt, die statt dem Lieblingsfach das „Vernunftfach“ wählen. Das ist eine Entscheidung basierend auf fremden Bedürfnissen! Was für ein Mensch wird man da, wenn man ein Leben von fremden Bedürfnissen bestimmt lebt, statt sein eigenes? Was lernt man dann noch aus seinem Leben? Da kann man sich ja gleich vor den Zug werfen, dann hat man’s hinter sich.

Ein Studium soll nun nicht mehr als jene Phase gelten, in der Interessen jenseits des fachlichen Kanons vertieft oder neue Lebensentwürfe erprobt werden. […] Früher waren Unis autarke Laboratorien für Experimente, Parallelgesellschaften im Guten, wo sich junge Menschen ihre persönlichen Erleuchtungen erlaubten. Geschadet hat die Zügellosigkeit den wenigsten, im Gegenteil, etliche Persönlichkeiten haben diese Freiräume genutzt.

Stattdessen: Die Kinder der Krise.

Das Fach BWL ist der gemeinsame Nenner dieser Generation – eine Schicksalsgemeinschaft der Besitzstandswahrer und Bildungsaufsteiger, Überflieger und Underdogs, Rastlosen und Ratlosen. „Ohne spezifisches Profil, ohne Kanten, ohne besondere Farbe“ seien sie. Eine „unauffällige Generation“.

Alle Menschen werden als Original geboren, doch die meisten sterben als Kopie.

Sucht euren Lebenssinn. Was wollt ihr wirklich tun? Nicht die kurzfristigen Vergnügen. Apropos chemischer Nachhilfeunterricht: Kennt ihr die Fluorid-Lüge? Fluor macht dumm, verursacht Krebs und schaltet langsam, aber sukzessive den freien Willen des Menschen aus. Seht euch doch um! Überall nur noch prämienverstrahlte Konsumenten und papierligeile Büffelmaschinen. Nicht links und nicht rechts schauen. Geradeaus in den Abgrund.

Es hängt alles zusammen. Gut funktionieren sollen wir und nicht aufmucken. Wir sind Eigentum von Konzernen, die aus uns möglichst viel Profit pressen wollen. Ob uns das gut tut, kümmert die nicht.

Hand hoch: Wer hat als Kind gesagt:

Ich glaube niemand. Feuerwehrmann und Astronaut sind die Favoriten aus der Zeit damals.

Und heute? Heute hetzen alle nur noch ECTS-Punkten nach. Oder versuchen, Kundenbedürfnisse möglichst gut zu befriedigen.
