Wie dem auch sei; heute treffen wir uns wieder, beim warmen Felsen bei Sonnenuntergang. Die Sonne steht noch etwas hoch. Ich schlendere durch’s Gelände.
„Hi, where are you from?“, spricht mich jemand an, als ich grad beim Ambient Source aufkreuze. „I’m Robert, but you can call me Robbie.“ Ein netter Kerl aus Belgien hat unter dem Holzbrett dort eine Steckerleiste gefunden und lädt sein Natel. Die offizielle Ladestation ist total überlastet, darum lade ich hier, erklärt er mir. Er ist erst seit gestern am Festival, und wo es denn hier Alkohol zu trinken gäbe. Den musst Du hier suchen 🙂 Das ist kein Bünzli-Alk-und-gröhl-Festival. Es gibt genau eine Bar, und die hat ein grosses Atomzeichen; dort findest Du, was du suchst 😉
Ich muss weiter. Die Sonne neigt sich dem Horizont zu. „Good bye, and don’t drink too much!“ -- verabschiede ich mich und gehe dem Strand entlang in Richtung Felsen. Ob Jack schon da ist?
Durch den Gebüscheingang hindurch, höre ich eine coole Melodie am Strand. Ich filme noch schnell einen Rundumblick über die ganze Szene, und bemerke nicht, wie sich Jack hinter mir anschleicht…
Ha! Da bist Du ja. 🙂
MDMA. „Do we really want to do it?“ „Sure. You’ll be amazed.“ Er ist noch etwas unsicher, genau so wie ich bei meinem ersten mal.
„Maybe I’ll take just half of the dose?“ „No Jack. You would be disappointed, believe me.“
„First, some instructions.“, beginne ich meine Ausführungen. Genug Wasser trinken. Die Körpertemperatur wird erhöht, man hat leichtes Fieber. Zu schnell trocknet man aus, wenn man dazu noch tanzt. Vier Flaschen Wasser, zwei für jeden. Plus zehn Quittungen, mit denen können wir weitere Flaschen holen. Das müsste reichen. Du wirst auch ein leichtes Kiefermahlen feststellen; woher das kommt weiss ich nicht, aber es ist ganz harmlos. Und ja: Die Pupillen werden ebenfalls erweitert.
MDMA ist ein Empathogen. Das heisst, dass du dich sehr gut in alle Menschen um dich herum einzufühlen vermagst. Es ist eine sehr menschliche Erfahrung. Du wirst mehr Mensch. Augenkontakt wird zum Kinderspiel; über Gestik, Mimik und Tanzbewegungen musst du nicht mehr nachdenken, dass geschieht automatisch und ist genau richtig.
Wenn wir zu zweit sind, können wir über alle Themen des Lebens reden, auch solche, über die man sonst nicht spricht. Und das in einem respektvollen, wertschätzenden Ton. Abseits von den Problemen über Probleme sprechen, und sich dabei nicht angegriffen oder verletzt fühlen. Viele Ehekriege wurden mit MDMA gelöst.
Wenn du alleine bist, kannst du dein Leben in einer tiefen Introspektion neu ordnen. Eine andere Sichtweise auf die Dinge entwickeln. Es räumt auf, es zieht Bilanz, es stellt die Dinge richtig.
Bitter schmecken sie, die im Wasser gelösten MDMA-Kristalle. Das ist ja wieder mal eine Medizin…
„Let’s go to the dance temple“. Ein wunderbarer Gesang ist zu hören. Die Sonne ist gerade dabei, unterzugehen, der Abend klingt aus. Was für eine Hammerstimmung!
Wir schlendern durch den Tempel und beobachten den Sonnenuntergang. Jack blödelt ab und zu vor der Linse rum (0:09 und 2:53), und gerade als die Sonne untergegangen ist, kommt auch der Gesang zum Abschluss. Perfektes Timing!
Die nächste Band macht sich bereit. Querflöte, Bongos, Gitarre; untermalt mit elektronischer Musik. Dazu malen Künstler live ein Bild auf der Bühne. Ein Mensch weht vor der Bühne mit einer Fahne umher, die Leute beobachten, bewegen sich, tanzen. Was für eine Stimmung! Genial. Besonders die Fahne macht’s aus.
Ja, ich glaube, so langsam spüre ich erste Wirkungen. Ist es das Kribbeln im Kopf? Die Haare, die sich so fein anfühlen, wenn ich mit der Hand über sie streiche? Ein leichtes Schwindelgefühl, waah -- mein Körper fühlt sich so leicht an. Ein sanfter Druck im Brustbereich, der Puls ist erhöht. Auf einmal ist alles so anders. Viel klarer. Man nimmt den Moment direkt in sich auf.
Der Ballast fällt weg, das Geschnatter im Kopf verstummt. Übrig bleiben nur ich, die Musik, und ganz viele Menschen, die sich vor der Bühne bewegen.
„Jack. See that? Look at all those people!“ Es ist alles so wundervoll, so magisch. Sacret. Ein Lächeln, das nicht mehr weggeht, zaubert sich auf mein Gesicht. Ich höre auf, mich zur Musik zu bewegen. Das war fast schon ein unbewusster Zwang, auch mit der Menge mitzumachen. Doch jetzt, jetzt kann ich ganz für mich selbst sein. Ich fühle die Energie, die pulsiert. All die Menschen, den Rhythmus. Man spürt das besser, wenn man stillsteht.. Ich drehe mich zu den Menschen um und schaue ihnen zu. Sie sind alle extra hier hergekommen, nur um jetzt hier zu sein.
Der da, mit den langen Rasta-Haaren -- ihm gefällt die Musik. Er bewegt sich mit geschlossenen Augen im Rhythmus dazu. Oder diese junge Frau da -- sie scheint etwas abgelenkt. Vielleicht nervös? Wo sie wohl herkommt? Was ist ihre Geschichte?
Hier steht jemand verschlossen vor der Bühne. Er bewegt sich erzwungen. Er ist sicher auch alleine hier am Festival. Ooh, ich weiss genau, wie du dich fühlst! Aber ich glaube, er möchte nicht gestört werden, und so lasse ich ihn ziehen.
Diese junge Dame begrüsst ihren Freund. Sie tanzen zusammen zur Musik. So ist es gut. Meine Augen wandern von Mensch zu Mensch. Jeder ist für sich einzigartig und wertvoll. Sie alle schauen gespannt den Künstlern auf der Bühne zu. Interessant, praktisch niemand beobachtet mich. Normalerweise habe ich immer dieses Gefühl; alle beobachten mich, wie ich wohl wirke oder mich bewege. Aber es ist gar nicht so! Ausser, man knüpft Augenkontakt, dann zentriert sich die Aufmerksamkeit dieses Menschen für einen kurzen Moment auf mich. Und wieder weg! Grossartig. Ich muss mir keine Sorgen mehr machen, dass mich alle anstarren.
„Now go and look out for some ladies!“, sage ich zu Jack. Er soll diesen Zustand ruhig ausnutzen… 😉
Ich wende mich wieder der Bühne zu. Die introspektive Phase beginnt. Hier bin ich also. Am Boom Festival 2012. Was habe ich bisher erreicht? All das, was ich sehe, ist das Resultat meiner bisherigen Anstrengungen. Auch wenn viele meine Meinung und Sichtweisen nicht teilen, und ich mich oft allein, unverstanden und fremd fühle. All das bisherige war nötig und wertvoll. Schau nur, was sich vor mir aufbaut. Die ganze Einrichtung, all diese Menschen. Wir sind also alle hier, um die Welt zu verändern. Jeder ist auf seiner Heldenreise. Jeder bringt etwas in die Welt. Und ich bin nicht allein. Das sehe ich ganz deutlich. Ich bin nicht allein. Umgeben von so vielen anderen Helden, alle auf ihrem Weg, in ihrem Gebiet. Wir sind alle hier hergekommen, um zu zeigen: Wir sind hier! Und wir werden diesen Planeten befreien! Wir setzen ein Zeichen mit diesem Festival. Alleine kann ich die Welt nicht ändern, aber jeder trägt seinen Teil dazu bei, und so ändern wir sie gemeinsam. Und nochmal: Ich bin nicht allein.

Das ist wunderbar.
Jeder leistet seinen Beitrag. Was kann ich dazu beitragen? Was kann ich konkret dazu beitragen, um einen Fussabdruck in die Welt zu setzen? Lass Dich überraschen, bekomme ich zur Antwort. Sei einfach du selbst, und folge dem Pfad, den du bisher gegangen bist. Wir führen dich da durch. Alles weitere ergibt sich von selbst.

„I have this deep, introspective phase“, teile Jack mit, und gebe ihm eine kurze Beschreibung über meine Gedanken. „Yea, that’s really great!“
„I looked at a girl, and I could make easily eye contact with her.“ Siehst Du! 🙂 Innerlich muss ich kichern. Jaa, das hat MDMA so an sich.
Wir verlassen den Dance Temple und laufen ein wenig nebeneinander her. „You know, this festival really opened up my mind.“, sagt Jack. Er erzählt weiter. All diese Vorträge gestern, die haben seine Sichtweise auf Drogen verändert. „Yes. I think that’s why they call it a ‚transformational festival‘ ;)“, sage ich ihm. „You know, in Scotland, everyone is drinking.“ Oh, das ist bei uns in der Schweiz genau so. Die Leute kennen nichts anderes, pusten sich jede Woche die Birne weg und verdrängen ihre Probleme, statt sich ihnen zu stellen und sie zu lösen. Und sie sind stolz darauf, wenn sie viel Alkohol vertragen. Das ist eine traurige Tatsache.
Die Gesellschaft teilt Drogen in „harte Drogen“ und „weiche Drogen“ ein. Das ist kompletter Bullshit! Würdest du MDMA als harte Droge bezeichnen? Mmh, Nein!
MDMA und all die anderen psychedelischen Substanzen vermitteln dir eine andere Sichtweise auf das Leben. Auf die Welt. Sie eröffnen neue Perspektiven, bringen Inspiration. Ermutigen die Leute, einen Pfad abseits der Masse zu gehen. Sich gegen die Normen und gegen dieses kaputte System zu stellen. Davor fürchten sich die Mächtigen, und genau deswegen sind diese Substanzen verboten. Sie haben Angst.
„You’re such a nice guy, that showed me all those things. I’m glad that I met you.“ „I’m glad that I met you!“, entgegne auch ich. Auf MDMA sagt man gerne schöne Dinge zu Menschen. Dinge, die man lange vor sich her schiebt; für die sich nie eine Gelegenheit ergibt.
Ich habe Jack eine neue Welt gezeigt. Zusammen mit den Vorträgen konnte er es für sich selbst erfahren. Das war kein „vollpumpen mit Drogen“, wie ich mir an meinem Depri-Tag eingeredet habe. Sondern eine eigene Erfahrung unter sicheren Bedingungen. Es beruhigt mich sehr, das zu wissen.
Im Zelt der Liminal Village angekommen, findet gerade eine Zeremonie statt. Die Gruppe singt die Boom-Hymne, begleitet von mehreren Tamburin.

Jack kritzelt was in sein Notizbuch. Kurze Zeit später halte ich einen Zettel in meiner Hand mit seiner E-Mail Adresse. Ich tue das gleiche mit meiner Adresse. Wir sehen uns wieder. An einem anderen Festival.
Wir legen uns hin. Die Premiere des Films Cosmic Giggle startet.
Todmüde stehen wir am Ende des Films auf. „Now, have to go back to camp.“ Das Ende dieses wundervollen Abends naht. Wann wir uns morgen treffen? Wieder bei Sonnenuntergang beim Felsen? „Mmh, or maybe sooner. At one o’clock at the infostand?“ „Allright“. „Cya!“
